UPDATED July 27, 2015|
Gannon and I hope that you're all having a great summer!
...I would like to repeat what I was saying for awhile last year when I was in the hospital so much - even if a name is not in the highlights because of time and illness issues, PLEASE GO THROUGH MY MESSAGES. So many wonderful names and stories are sent in, and every single one of these angels deserves a token and a prayer. For instance, just searching with the memorial numbers that member Florida Boy just sent me will take you to military heroes, cancer warriors, baseball players and other fascinating folks...Big Jake notes that member Kentucky Sweetheart has children needing visits. Members Zina, Amy Wolfe and Theresa Hernandez always have children highlighted, and right now Theresa is also highlighting unsolved homicide cases. So look around...
Please check my new cemetery, ATTENTION: Years Between Visits. Children, heroes and other angels are going two and three years (even seven and eight years) between tokens...Can we remedy that? Thank You!
Please visit this young lady and read more about her via Google:
Rebecca Draper Townsend
This gentleman was killed in the line of duty, and has very few tokens:
Officer Daryle Stephen Holloway
Member pure grace is trying to verify burial information about this gentleman, if anybody has any helpful thoughts or leads:
James Vernon 'Jimmy' Simpson
This little Sweetie's BIRTHDAY link will also take you to those of his father and brother:
This little one has less than ten tokens:
Zoie Beth Gates
This HERO has a BIRTHDAY on July 13th:
Keith Matthew Maupin
This tiny homicide victim has had no tokens for years - luckily, this should be remedied soon... as information about Emanuel is another example of Amy Wolfe's hard work on this site to find forgotten pages:
Emanual Wesley Murray, Jr.
My brother Ron has an ANGEL DAY on July 3/4 (he died during the night, and exact time is unknown), and I was asked to keep the link up to his page; THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family members. =) I just put a poem of mine on Ron's page that will tell a bit more about my brother's short time here, if you'd like to read it - it's - as Ron would have said - the cold as Chicago winter wind truth, and he was very brave to live through everything he did. Here is Ron's link:
Ronald Lucien 'Ron' Poynter, Jr.
Please remember that I have some assistance on the site right now, due to my eyes...so if it doesn't quite sound like me in replies, fear not. It is me, I promise, and my friend is just trying to get my rapid fire chatter down as sensibly as possible. ha!
LOVE ONE ANOTHER! =)
Bio: My son Gannon and I live outside Los Angeles, but we are from Chicago/Jersey/New York; we have traveled extensively in our lives and are only off the road for now due to medical issues - but I sure hope to be able to hit the road again, someday. =) I am widowed, and I write for a living; I am very lucky to be able to work at home and therefore be with Gannon 24/7; he is seriously physically and mentally disabled, and most of my friends on here already know how I feel about Gannon...If I leave anything behind that is good, it will be because Gannon made me a better person. It is an honor to be his mother. We are interested in charity work and support Wounded Warriors, Make A Wish, Toys for Tots, The Huntington's Disease Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; all programs for poverty and below poverty level families in America; Feed America, Books For Inmates, and more. We also have a soft spot for animal welfare programs, and sincerely believe the quote that "If you want to know a man's true character, study how he treats an animal." Lastly, I hope that my work on here will answer questions, bring reunions and pay tribute to those gone, but not forgotten.
"Pray for the dead, and fight like hell for the living." - MOTHER JONES

Hi Rhonda and Gannon, Good news and not so good. Just to let you know, not sweating is a problem on my pharmacy sheets. It is only one problem I experienced, minor compared to my difference in speech and a loss of words. Fyi...I finished your August memorials a few at a time as I would have some issues yet. I will continue later.
Eugene Yoakum, Killed LOD police officer. Thanks, Rhonda.

Hi Rhonda! I saw that you recently added Dylan. So heartbreaking. Suicide is a matter very close to me. I wish people didn't have to suffer like that.
No, I don't mind you sponsoring Adelina at all! You are the only one besides myself that really sponsors my memorials, apart from the occasional random person. There was one woman who sponsored a bunch of mine at once and then stopped, and I'm not sure where she went. Thank you for sponsoring Adelina.
I would love to visit your new family memorials when you have them up.
If you don't mind, I have two memorials on my page that are in bad need of tokens - two little boys who were killed in the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders back in 1928 :( What happened to them was so heartbreaking. If you could drop by and give them a token, I would be very grateful.
Hope you are doing well!

Thank you for remembering my beloved Mother's Birthday today. I miss her so very much and my heart is heavy today. Your kindness and beautiful heart will never be forgotten. Again, your remembrance is deeply appreciated for her lovely Birthday flowers.
Bless you and your family,
Hi Rhonda, In your profile picture there is some beautiful flowers behind handsome Gannon, can you tell me what they are? They are beautiful and I have the perfect place for some tall flowers.

This is one of sixteen infants lost to the same family, very sad story. All sixteen are listed for flowers.

I hope to send you another letter (it's been some time) soon but I hope your recovery is smooth. Me...I am soon going to be on different meds than the Zomaside which has caused me major side effects for many months.
Also, I am currently adding tokens to your August FAGRAVE memorials and seem to have problems most of the time.
Take care, Rhonda and Gannon
