Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is David Alan Jones, I was born on February 25, 1956 at Mills Memorial Hospital in San Mateo, CA. I am a student of history, including that of my own family and direct decendants; "Without he or she, there would be no me". Cemeteries are excellent resources for genealogy research and also places of quiet reflection for the living.
I have written a book, "US Silent Service Dolphins & Combat Insignia, 1924-1945". I enjoy research into the military history of the United States. I just finished writing a book titled "Five War Patrols" about Floyd Caverly aboard the USS Tang.
My son and I are members of the "Son's of the American Revolution" and my daughter is a member of the "Daughter's of the American Revolution". I am also a member of The War of 1812 Society. I serve as a captain on the Klamath River Fire Department. Thanks for looking at my bio.

RE: Hamburg/Horse Creek
Maybe Horse Creek has just disappeared over time as people moved on. I've sure seen it quite a bit here lately as I've been working on these folks. I'd like to get down there and take a look around. I've regretted my years as a 911 dispatcher ever since I got to spray a fire hose on a ride-along. Who doesn't love a fireman? Thanks again for your help.

RE: Hamburg/Horse Creek
Right - the cemetery and your house are Hamburg. Is that the same as Horse Creek?

I added the photos of his stones and tried to put them in after your photo, but I guess only you can change the order. Sorry but I thought you would like my photos added.
