Death comes once, but a cemetery is forever
Phillip M. O'Shea
The quality, not the longevity, of one's life is what is important. --Dr. Martin Luther King Jr
Please feel free to contact me about any graves I have listed. If I have listed someone that you are related to and I am not and you would like them transferred to you, please just let me know. If we are both related then I will have to think about it. Please feel free to use any of my photo's anywhere you want.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and the date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who cares
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you."
A LIMB HAS FALLEN
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

|Paula Harris||Whitt Cemetery|
Barbara, I'm really not sure about the Whitt cemetery as to what county it's in, but a Peggy Short started the memorials back in 2005. However, my husband is from Buchanan and just told me that it's in Buchannan county. I will go look at a map and get back to you....paula
Thanks, I have excepted your Edits.

I am not sure what to post for this memorial page. It doesn't appear that their is one for sure match that should be used here.
It may be better to use the picture from the rest of the Noble family and leave this blank until more information may be discovered.
Also found Franklin A. Noble, Margaret Noble, Jessie, Pauline and Harry noble if you are interested. Create a memorial page and request a photo then I will know the pages are done and ready for a picture.

Talked to his son this week-end and he did not have a middle name just the initial B. story is his siblings had middle names he didn't so he gave himself the middle initial. Hope this helps you.

Thank you for your note. I took over 200 photos at Greenhills last week. I'm trying to post about 20 a day. I also work fulltime (last week was vacation) plus I'm working on a book. Keep watch - hopefully I got the photos that people need.

Thank you for making the change so quickly. I noticed your note on his memorial about the name "John." I did blow-up the picture of the cross marking the grave and you can make out that it says "Infant John Worthen," but the John is very hard to see, since it is faded. Odd that the death certificate doesn't list the name.

Good morning, I suggested some edits for this baby, but have had some instances where they never made it through . I located his death certificate and was hoping you would link this tiny child to his parents. Mom is Cora Worthen #5380936 and father Frank Worthen #5380933. Thank you for your help.

I usually photograph all sides of a monument.
Father is on the same monument as Elnathan P. Brownell and wife Harriet.
On other sides are Elnora P. Brownell (young daughter) and Annie Brownell, wife of Rev. T. N. Owen
