Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Montgomery County Virginia and have live here all my life.

I enjoy looking for my ancestors and also enjoy helping other find theirs. I also believe that no one should pay for information on their Ancestors.

At this time I am researching the Dudley, Eanes, Hamm, Hall, Lutz, Testerman, Birchfield, and Bingham Families.

If I have posted and you noticed a mistake please let me know and I will correct the mistake as soon as possible.

If you have added information for a person whose record I've created, please feel free to e-mail me, I will be happy to make any appropriate changes.

If a fmaily member of any memorial that I have place would like to take over the ownership of that memorial, please contact me I will be happy to transfer this to you, if this person is not one of my family members.

I am a photo volunteer but I can not do photo in Floyd Co. This is out of my way and I do not know that area.

Hundleys at Halls United Methodist Church Cemetery
Alminer Washington Hundley was apparently married three times...his first wife Mary Jane Martin died before the 1920 census because he is married to an Alice in the 1920 census who is gone before 1928 as he marries Louvenia Sarver (whose apparently divorced from Arthur Harrison Vaden) whose with Alminer in the 1930 and 1940 cesus with Louvenia's youngest daughter (Ida Mae Vaden). Could it be possible that the UNKNOWN HUNDLEY grave at Hall's is Mary Jane Martin his first wife (or their first born son who died at birth... A W Hundley Jr)? Are there any church records on burials or deaths?

RE: William Akers Jr.
I searched for William Akers in Virginia when I found the dupe. I did not notice when I sent you the edit the other entry is not in the same cemetery. See memorial 26032398. The obit posted on that page is from the Roanoke Times and mentions a different cemetery (Sherwood Burial Park). Your obit appears to be from the funeral home.

John C Wade
I believe John C Wade married Mary Mangus. I am on Ancestry and had posted the picture of the tomb but now question what is what. His father and mother would have been Nathan Wade and Delphia Cox. All of John C Wade information seems to confer with what I have, census etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Robert Lewis Hickok
Brenda,

I just found your Find-A-Grave post for Robert Lewis Hickok. This man was a witness along with R. E. Crews in my uncle Harry F. Flanders aka Harry F. Franklin's will of May 24, 1962. Did you know my uncle or are you related to Mr. Hickok? My uncle died in November of 1969. I am trying to tie some loose ends about my uncle in my genealogical research. He was born in Hillsborough, NH in 1903.

Abner ANTHONY
Dear Brenda,
Thank you for processing the updates I sent yesterday.

Did you also see my email suggestion sent yesterday morning, subject "Find A Grave Correction: Abner Anthony" requesting an addition to his Bio section?

Thanks for all you have done on Find A Grave.

RE: Sowers
Thank you so much, Brenda. I would really appreciate receiving the Sowers pictures.
My grandmother's family are Bower. Would it be possible to send pictures of them if there aren't too many for you to do from the St. Matthews Cemetery?
Also, I have found a small cemetery called Bower Cemetery on Dobbins Rd. listed through Findagrave. Are you familiar with it? It is possible they may be related to my grandmother. Lewis Bower and Nancy Bowman are listed & could be her grandparents.
There are so many Sowers in Montgomery County listed in various cemeteries. I try to research the names that are the same as many of the Sower siblings. Thank you, again, for all your assistance.
