My name is Kimberly and I began my journey here at "Find a Grave" in August 2009 when I stumbled upon this website by accident. My father had just past away 2 years ago and I had not been able to go and see his grave or headstone. I was totally surprised that someone had taken a picture of his headstone and put it on this site. My husband and I moved from California to Texas. His mother is buried in Central California and I was able meet another fantastic volunteer who went and took photos of my husband's mother's headstone and other famiily members so that he is able to have a memorial for them since we are so far away. I know there are so many others out there who do not know about this site and I want to help share this site with others. I feel it is important to keep our loved ones memories alive.|
I have enjoyed linking family together on here and this site has been advantageous in my genealogy endeavors. The following are surnames of the family I am researching: Shields; Hannah; McElwain; Detherow; Case; Shook; Davis; Pilkington; Harmon; and most of Webster Co., Missouri (to list a few). If you are related, please let me know. I have done a lot of research on most of these families and would love to share anything I have.
**** I would be happy to transfer memorials to those related and even non-related, within reason; I just ask that those memorials I transfer be cared for as I have cared for them ****
All my blessings

Hi Kimberly -
Just made the connections you requested on Ralph's memorial. Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you? I'd be happy to - I'm not related in any way. Just let me know. Glad I could help with the photo.

All corrections have been made
|Melody Krause Martino||RE: James Davis|
Thank you, I'd love anything that might help! I'm finding conflicting information and I'm not sure what to believe now.
My father is Donald Krause. His mother was Lois Esther Davis. Her father was James Luther Davis 1870-1953. His father (I'm pretty sure) was James Martin Davis 1830-1912. From there I have 2 different names. Info on Ancestry.com tells me the father of James Martin was William Henry Davis 1802-1889. A booklet my grandmother had says that the father of James Martin was William Oliver Davis. I can't seem to prove either one of them to be correct, although I believe James Martin was born in Tennessee and I can't prove William Oliver to ever BE in Tennessee!
What information do you have? Are we related?
All I can give you is Her name i believe is Evenlyn Violett Case born 7-24-1914, Lexington, MO married a Glen Colbert in Seadleia(?) death date is 9-17-1972 in Warsaw. Now her mother is Mary Catherine McIntyre and father James E Case or a Tim Case. sorry i am still trying to figure this all out still on this end. I have some say it is a James and others say Tim I am looking for proof.
Thanks for everything.

Buried at Timber Ridge death date is March 10, 1931.
Also you have William Robert White's daughter listed as Denise. Her name was Dena E. and she was called Denie. What Ikerds is your husband related to. I know some the of Ikerds that went to California. I think George and Nancy Ikerd are buried at Hyde Cemetery. I have pictures.
I was just reading your bio and saw that you have CASE in your bio as well. My mother in law had a half sister by the last name of Case. This is a very small world.
