This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):
Always a silent hurt, many a silent tear, but always a beautiful memory of one we loved so dear.
God gave us strength to bear it, and courage to take the blow, but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know.
I was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. I've lived in FL, NY, CA, WA, and OR. I was married to my best friend in San Diego over 38 years ago. We now live in the beautiful great Northwest. We have four wonderful children and we've been blessed with ten grandchildren.
I found Find A Grave by accident. It has become one of my favorite sites to visit. It has given me a place that I can remember my mother and my sister Sandy and honor their memory right from my desk. Thank you Find A Grave.

Just remember to list the subject as relating to find a grave, or else it may be mistaken for junk mail, and I wouldn't want that to happen.
Strangers in the Box By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer, In this box I've often seen, At the pictures, black and white, Faces proud, still, serene. I wish I knew the people, These strangers in the box, Their names and all their memories Are lost among my socks. I wonder what their lives were like. How did they spend their days? What about their special times? I'll never know their ways. If only someone had taken time To tell who, what, where, when, These faces of my heritage Would come to life again. Could this become the fate Of the pictures we take today? The faces and the memories Someday to be tossed away? Make time to save your pictures, Seize the opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours could be The strangers in the box. | |

 | My granny Iva Hello and Good Morning - Just wanted to drop a quick note and tell you how much your kindness is appreciated. You have left flowers and tokens on some of the memorials that I manage or have sponsored, specifically on my granny Iva's memorial. It really touches my heart that you take the time to do that. Thanks so much. All The Best, JamiAdded by Jami on May 23, 2013 6:20 AM | | | Sebastian Weber
 | neil Thank you for visiting my daughter Ripley Marie Weber on what should be her 16th Birthday. I certainly appreciate all of the visits and kind notes that are left for her. I lost my sweet mom recently and the past year of her ailing health has taken its toll on my pops and me.
I hope all is well with you and your family and again I thank you.
Friends, Sebastian
God bless. | | | Clc

 | Thank you! Just wanted to say thank you so much for the flowers on Merton and Marguerite Barber's memorials. They are two of the absolute dearest people who were ever in my life, the loss of which I still feel quite deeply, even after many years since they passed. Your consideration for them means a lot to me. Thanks so much. :o]Added by LC-NW on May 21, 2013 12:51 PM | | | melissa

 | Strangers in the Box Hello - wondering if I may have permission to share the poem about Strangers in the Box, with my family? It is one that I have not seen before, and I'm sure all genealogists can identify with it. Thank you! ClcAdded by Clc on May 20, 2013 10:26 PM | | | The Genealogy Genie
