Cheryl A Tovar, Saticoy, Ventura, California|
This is me at the top of Angels Flight in Los Angeles, CA. I was born in a suburb not far from here called Highland Park, but have live in the seaside community of Ventura, CA for over 30 years. I enjoy researching history, ancestry and Find A Grave has been a great resource of information. I enjoy being able to help document the treasures of our past, our family, friends and pioneer history.

My Partner and I recently sent you an obituary for Constant,68361845. We greatly appreciate you putting it up on the page, but would like to ask you if you could remove all the stuff above the obituary , leaving just the obituary itself with the contributor's names? That would be great!
Thank You for all you do,
|Sheila Ruiz Harrell||RE: Miguel Antonio Moraga|
Thanks Cheryl, I've just emailed you and want to thank you again a gazillion times over for what you're doing for the preservation of the lives and histories of these folks. You are sooooo appreciated!!

Found her (presumed) marker and added a memorial in the Glenwood Resource Ctr Cemetery (#154428194). Did you wish to take management of the memorial? - Mike Needham (47367397)

I am a volunteer like you. The owner of this cemetery promises to call the police on any Find A Grave volunteer.
You can always request again, but I promise you that the photo(s) you seek can be easily and quickly and reliably procured another way.
There has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. They completed exhaustive photographing of headstones at San Luis Cemetery in the past 5 years, and they will share them with you.
You can email a request for a photo of the headstone(s) you are looking for, by doing the following, and they will respond promptly:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know.
Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person.
They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research.
They will email you within a day or two with an attached photo(s), if it exists.
I will ask that your request be removed (so others arenít discouraged), now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.

I asked for some photos of graves that you created memorials for in:
The volunteer says this cemetery doesn't exist. Can you help clarify this?

Thanks for reply. I am old enough to remember when women's only identities was by their "Mrs" and husband's first name. I guess marriage was their "claim to fame."
