UPDATED FOR NOVEMBER, 2014:|
"Life is the childhood...of our Immortality." - Goethe
I want to thank everybody who continues to visit my many pages while I am offline; I also want to thank my site friends who have specifically come back online for now to keep my pages tokened and visited. It is greatly, greatly appreciated!
I will be adding new highlighted names asap, but please note that I may only be online for a couple of days a month through the winter season; we are moved and trying to get back to normal life, but there continues to be pretty heavy health issues which keep me from checking in routinely. =( Please know that you are all in Gannon's and my hearts, and I sure hope that we'll soon be back to the simple hi and hello messaging that I look forward to so much. In the meantime, please remember that many of my virtual cemeteries only have a few names and would be a great page to look up for names and stories - for instance, my "Attention - End Watch" has only three names in it right now. Two of these police officers are father and son, both killed in the line of duty and oddly enough, killed exactly 26 years apart from one another, to the day.
Hugs, hugs, hugs - and leave messages, because I will try to check!
A THOUGHT ABOUT SPONSORSHIPS: Please do not feel hopeless when trying to make it through the sponsorship listings! There are days when I can only visit a couple, myself...and I am continuing to work at separating them - for instance, you can already see 'Attention: Sponsored Children' and 'Attention: Sponsored Military Men and Women'...and I will continue to 'compartmentalize' names and circumstances, so that you will be able to go right to names which interest you. =)And, as always, THANK YOU for visiting our pages - every single token and word of prayer is so appreciated.
I was asked to keep the link up to my brother Ron's page; THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family members. =) I just put a poem of mine on Ron's page that will tell a bit more about my brother's short time here, if you'd like to read it - it's - as Ron would have said - the cold as Chicago winter wind truth, and he was very brave to live through everything he did. Here is Ron's link:

Bio: My son Gannon and I live outside Los Angeles, but we are from Chicago/Jersey/New York; we have traveled extensively in our lives and are only off the road for now due to medical issues - but I sure hope to be able to hit the road again, someday. =) I am widowed, and I write for a living; I am very lucky to be able to work at home and therefore be with Gannon 24/7; he is seriously physically and mentally disabled, and most of my friends on here already know how I feel about Gannon...If I leave anything behind that is good, it will be because Gannon made me a better person. It is an honor to be his mother. We are interested in charity work and support Wounded Warriors, Make A Wish, Toys for Tots, The Huntington's Disease Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; all programs for poverty and below poverty level families in America; Feed America, Books For Inmates, and more. We also have a soft spot for animal welfare programs, and sincerely believe the quote that "If you want to know a man's true character, study how he treats an animal." Lastly, I hope that my work on here will answer questions, bring reunions and pay tribute to those gone, but not forgotten.
"Pray for the dead, and fight like hell for the living." - MOTHER JONES

My heart goes out to this family too.
The weirdest thing happened last night, I was watching an old show "Naked City", and the stars were Peggy Ann and Albert; I felt like fate was there. It was surreal..
I will definetly stay in touch, good luck with your move. My best to you.

Thank you for your condolences Rhonda. It does help to know shes not in pain anymore. Yes, i remember that song. : )
Hope you enjoy your new place and glad you both are getting to the doctors. I know how that is. As big as our city is and barely no specialists in our city take our insurance. We have to go 1/2 or more to get to a specialist. I have a lung doctor and thyroid doctor i have to go to and both 1/2 hr or more away. Ugh.
Hugs to all, Missie

My Dearest Find A Grave friends, yes this is a cut and pasted message from Mario to let you know I have incurred the loss of my desktop computer. That means I can only come on to Find A Grave about once a day, while I get a new desktop computer. I want everyone to know I keep the memory of their loved ones in my heart at all times. I wanted to start a memorial for my computer, but only animate objects can be honored :-) ~Mario
