Kathleen Stadtmuller-Gad, Dennis Kolb and I teamed up on area cemetery entries and locations/maps. In June 2010, we began reconciling FindAGrave files with the records of the City Clerk. At first glance we thought it would be a couple months. We are approaching the last two old sections where most of the corrections are needed. When finished, the City Clerk and the EHC Historical Society will get a spreadsheet of the original 8 blocks of the cemetery.

As of October 2014, my outside activities have been curtailed due to a diagnosis of multiple myeloma. If you wish to take on management of some of my entries, please contact me.

Please note: I do look at corrections sent to me, just not the day you send it.

RE: GUSTAVE JACOB RIEDEL PICTURE
I know about the homestead. Went there many years ago for my mom's cousins funeral and we drove by. I cried......spent a lot of time there and have wonderful memories of my Aunt Jenny and her many cats....
Do you have any idea of when and where that photo was taken. I was wondering about the uniform.

GUSTAVE JACOB RIEDEL PICTURE
Just saw the picture of my grandfather on find a grave at St. John (Gernant) Cemetery in Leesport Pa. Would love to know where you got this picture and any information you have on it. I see you are from Egg Harbor NJ where my grandfather was from before moving to Reading, PA. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for posting the picture. I can't wait to show my mom ( Gus' daughter)

Mark,

Thank you… appreciate your quick response. I did send a message to Angie Robinson for a few changes and will wait to see if she responds.

Are you a genealogist in or around Connecticut? I have a slew of relatives from Springfield MA and have found a lot of good information. However, if anyone moves to anywhere in Connecticut I am completely unable to find anything on them.

Thanks,
Daniel Williston

Is there some one else that you have worked with that could request the search at the clerk's office?

Hi Mark
I just came across yours and others spreadsheet for EHC Cemetery and the work you all have done to get the older and unmarked graves on Find A Grave. I want to tell you, Dennis, and Kathleen THANK-YOU from the bottom of my heart. If it had not been for you I never would have known where my Great Grandmother was buried. I was just now able to go to the spreadsheet and click on the section you listed on her memorial and see all the others also in her same section. I could tell from your work that they were all buried the same month and same year as her. All I had was a date from Social security and her name and it was your spreadsheet that confirmed I have the right person. This is incredible work and a huge amount of time you all have put into this so Thanks again!!
