Photo: Standing behind our family Patriot - Thomas Durfee, Esq. with my daughter and "cemetery buddy" Tara.|
Findagrave is such a valuable tool and helped me while researching for my DAR application. I had no idea where my Patriot, Thomas Durfee was buried until someone posted a photo on findagrave. We just HAD to go visit the site for ourselves!
I am willing to do photo requests anywhere in Rhode Island.
I initially began taking photos of ancestors, but have enjoyed adding others as well to this website.

Thank you for finding my great grandmothers grave. Sadie actually abandoned my Grandmother, her husband Edmund Charbonneau and my grandmothers 3 siblings in 1918. Two of my grandmothers siblings passed away from the spanish flew within a few months of her leaving. My grandmother and her remaining brother spent a number of years in a catholic orphanage before her father was able to take care of her. anyway it is a sad story which I have only discovered in the last two years. Sadie did marry again to a William Noble. My great-grandfather Edmund Charbonneau also remarried in 1926 to a Mary Richmond

Julie, I thank you so very much for the photo of Nancy Jordan's headstone. Nancy took good care of her grandmother, Emma, (my G-Grandmother) in her own home for the last couple years of her life. I do appreciate all your hard work.
|Richard Arthur Fenner||Susan Maude (Richmond) Fenner|
You added a gravestone photo for her husband Albert Fenner 19391511 and also took a wide shot that shows Maudes stone as well marked MRF. I have a photo request in for her if you would like to add that photo or a cropped version of it.
