Hollywood Cemetery Photo
Hi Martha,

I am writing an article for my genealogical society about my great-grandfather, Frank Leslie Whittington who is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS. May I have your permission to use your Hollywood Cemetery photo for my article. I would be happy to include "Reprinted with permission of Martha McKay." I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Teresa Fraser

Oscar Alexander Pigott
Hi Martha,

I noticed you mentioned Oscar's death cert on his memorial. I am trying to locate a copy of it to show his mother was Rosa Lewis (his father married sisters) for someone.
Could you please contact me regarding this?
Thanks so much,
Angela

RE: Jabez Newton Conerly article
Martha,

I realized if you were including information about Jabez Newton Conerly, you may have some information I don't.

I have alot of information (from newspaper articles) about his murder but, I don't have any information on his funeral or where he is buried. Do you have any more information you would share?

Thanks, Mike Conerly (Jabez's Great-grandson x2).

RE: Jabez Newton Conerly article
Certainly, it is actually a copy of the newspaper article so its "public domain", meaning you don't need my permission.

I may have a few more articles about Jabez I can send you if you would like. He was a deputy sheriff in 1880 and also a branch manager of a bank, The “New South” bank if my memory serves me correctly. When he was the Deputy Sheriff he had a prisoner taken from him and lynched! The newspaper article said he was “waylaid”!

I started a few years ago with my Conerly research and finished my book last fall. It was a genealogy book with stories about me and my memories plus stories about many of the persons in it, my family and ancestors. I found that it is a better read than just lots of dates and locations. Myself and many of my ancestors were law enforcement and/or in the military so I titled it "Behind The Badge And The Bayonet". I had it printed and gave as Christmas presents to my children and grandchildren last Christmas. Anyway, just drop me a line if I can be of further assistance.
