Thomas C. Shipley
I have an obit in my files, quite long, for Mrs. Rachel Worthington age 18 "consort of Mr. Rezin H. Worthington of Baltimore County, and daughter of Thomas C. Shipley, Esq. of Near New Market. Doesn't say where she is buried. It is from Fredericktown Herald, Sat. Dec. 6 1823. If you are interested I will send the complete article.

Monroe Miles
Monroe Miles is my great-great grandfather. Believe that he was born abt. 1844 in Virginia, which is all we know to date. We always assumed that he died in about 1890 in Roxton, Texas, but had no documentation to prove or disapprove til now. You will never know what a great feeling it is to find an answer to a long wanting question. Thank you so very, very much from our Family. This just proves that you never give up looking for answers. It's people like you that make it all worthwhile. Thanks again!!

Your Ancestor John Slebzak
Hello,

I was doing some research in the Library of Congress Archives, and ran across a unique name, John Slebzak, in Baltimore, MD.

You may wish to take a look at the following link, and see if it is your relative. It is a great picture of him as a young boy!

Thanks.

Dave,
Elizabeth is buried at Druid Ridge Cemetery opposite her mother, Sarah M. Conley. Do you have any information on Elizabeth's husband??

Great Contribution
Dave, it looks like you have left quite a legacy of work--you have helped me find quite a few wheelers here. I am looking for Noah Wheeler who was supposed to be buried here. I hope someday to drive up to this cemetery to look around. Thank you for all your hard work.

Capt Fred Walters
If anyone can help me find more details about capt Fred Walters, as he was supposed to be a relatives of my Nan, Lucy Smith, (previously Lucy Manby) and I think he may have married one of her aunts. I would like to know any details of his daughter and whether she married and had children herself. I believe the Fred Walters may have been born in Gloucester, England. If anybody has a photo of his grave, I would be really appreciative. Thank you, Penelope Ley.

John F. & Lucy Ellen Ray
Hi Dave,

Iím writing to notify you of a discrepancy. On July 5, 2011, you created memorial pages for John F. & Lucy Ellen Ray in Red Hill Cemetery (72778815 & 72778826). Oddly enough, however, exactly 4 years later, to the day, someone duplicated the memorials in a different cemetery. Cecil-Fry Cemetery, which is also in Pennington Gap, Lee County, VA, also has the same memorial with the same name and date information for John & Lucy Ray, but in addition, they also have gravestone photos. This could mean one of either two possibilities, either you mistakenly added the memorials to the wrong cemetery, in which case you have the option of moving the memorials you created over to the other cemetery, or, the person who took the gravestone photos was mistaken of which cemetery they were taking photos in. The memorial page numbers for the duplicate memorials are 148723237 & 148723273. Complicating matters, they also have photos of the deceased, which were added by a different Find-a-grave member then the one who posted the stone photos.

Captain Stephen Gill
You have started a memorial page for him, yet there is no usable or correct information on the page.
Capt Gill and his wife Pheobe Osbourne Gill are buried in Green Mount Cemetery. His birth date and death date are available in numerous places. I'll find them for you.
