As a volunteer for this site I am willing to take pics at grave sites near my home(Gardena), have taken pics at those sites and if any memorial you want transferred that is your family, please send me a note from the edit section of the memorial describing your relationship and I will be happy to transfer it to you. I'm happy to assist. I understand the importance of connecting families to their past.

Jerry, at this time I do not wish to transfer this memorial to you. I am related to the Pearce's directly. I am still working on this line myself and according to Find A Grave rules I am not required to transfer the memorial.

However you may send me any information you would like to add to the memorial for my consideration.

As far as the photo, I took this photo myself in 1974. If I know what I know now I would have taken another photo without the chalk and one with the entire stone in the photo. No digital cameras then either. I'd like to see a better photo also if the stone is still standing. I don't live at all close to the cemetery.

Willis John & Mabel Louis Kruckeberg
William "Willis" John Kruckeberg was the son of William "Willis" Kruckeberg and Josephine Magel. Willis married Mabel Louise Johnson, daughter of Mr. Johnson and Miss Lindow, on 22 Dec 1951 in Chisago County, Minnesota.

Would you please add this to the bio of these two?

Thank you.

Nettie Mae (Spencer) Lawson Fairchild
Hi Jerry,

Thanks for the photo and first marriage info on Nettie Mae (Spencer) Lawson Fairchild. I did not know that Arthur A. Lawson was her 1st husband. I added the marriage info and burial location to her memorial.

RE: Barrington Cemetery, Craven County, NC
Hi guys,
Brinson-Barnett is now Brinson Barnett Barrington and I think you are probably right about your GGUncle being there. I have been there once but was in a hurry and wasn't looking for him then. I have been to two other Barrington Cemeteries in the area in the last couple weeks and didn't find him in either of them. Have also been to the Roach Cemetery that you mentioned near Vanceboro lately too. I will claim your request and see what I can do when I get back to the area the end of the week For further comment please contact me at galleryartsprinting@yahoo.com.
Thanks Doug

Haddock
FYI - put 2 new names for Haddock at Forest Lawn in Richmond, VA today and noticed you had the only other Haddock at that location. Just in case they are family, I wanted to let you know !

Photo request fulfilled
Thank you ever so much for adding your photos to the Nelson Memorial at Riverside Church. I recently added pics of my uncle; so, your pic of his marker is really timely and appreciated. By the way, do you have any other pictures from this cemetery? Nelson, or Gaskins? I don't visit that area as often now. Last time there, I noticed a couple of markers missing. It takes all of us working together to complete the memorials on Find-A-Grave. I'm grateful for the work of other genealogists!

piney grove
Jerry I found the Piney Grove that I think you were talking about and its in Grifton but in Pitt County. Riverside is before you get to Grifton and is in Craven County. I hope this helps.
