I am in search of my family history, and that includes there final resting places. Our history takes us from the present to the 1420's, and it covers the states of Texas,Kentucky,South Carolina,Pennsylvania,Virginia,and Scotland. One of my 3rd great grand-fathers (Henry Reed), fought in the Battle of San Jacinto and I have a quest to find where all of those Texas Heroes were laid to rest.|

Many thanks for the photo of Allen Caruther's Historical Marker. He's not a relative of mine, but I thought it would be nice if someone who fought in the Battle of San Jacinto could be honored by having his Historical Marker appear in his memorial. I really appreciate it.
|G E Donnadieu Murphy||William Owen Burnam|
I just found the information on William! He is my gg-grandfather(#13171849). I know very little about him. William's father is Jesse Burnam (#16278104). Maybe you can link them? Jesse Burnam came in to Texas about 1821 with Stephen Austin and settled in the LaGrange area through a land-grant from Spain. He later moved his family to Marble Falls, Texas. The Burnam family is a part of the "Old 300" in Texas. The Burnam Family( sometimes spelled Burnham) has an incredible legacy in Texas. Thanks so much for information. William's wife's family(Zumwalt) was also a very well known family in Texas. Her parents are listed on Find a Grave. Grace M

|Deb||John Hart & Mary Polly Irvine Hart|
John Hart #99671031 is my husband's 3rd great-grandfather, and the son of Nathaniel Hart and Sarah Simpson. John's wife was Mary Polly Irvine Hart. I've submitted link with their memorial #'s for your approval. Are you a direct descendent? If not, would you be willing to transfer to me for maintenance? We have the detailed lineage of Nathaniel Hart and descendents and I'd like to make sure the graves we know about, and other details of their lives are added to find-a-grave. Please advise. Thank you for your work.

Robert, I am very sorry for the note before this one.
Yahoo took a lot of my contacts and emails and got rid of them so I am trying to get back with people that I had talked to before, and you are one of them.
I have been looking for Jesse in Waller County and Washington County Texas with no luck. I also looked for Francis.
If you have come up with any new information on where they might be would you PLEASE let me know.
Thanks and again I am sorry
|Jerry Coffman||Jesse Bartlett Memorial|
February 12,2014 you set up memorial#125065931 for Jesse Bartlett and show unknown as to where he is buried.
Where or how did you get this information and do you have any way of finding out where he might be buried?
You show he died in Waller County Texas but others are saying Washington County Texas.
I would love to find him so I can put him on my wife's tree.
Hello Scott. I am writing in regard to the following memorials you manage:
William B. Middleton (# 38822863)
Benjamin Benoni Middleton, Sr (# 38822861)
This is my grandmother’s Middleton family. There were 2 memorials for Benjamin “Benoni” Middleton, Sr. I was given the responsibility to manage one of these memorials. Please see the memorial I was given management of as these are the same individual:
Sgt. Benjamin "Benoni" Middleton, Sr. (# 67470837)
I wanted to see if we could possibly link all of the Middleton family together. My suggestion is that you remain the manager of the memorial for William B. Middleton (# 38822863).
Then delete the duplicate memorial of his father Benjamin Benoni Middleton, Sr (# 38822861) that you manage, and re-link William to these memorials of his mother, father, and siblings. This will bring him into connection with his larger family.
Mother: Isabella Patton Middleton (#133711465)
Father: Sgt. Benjamin "Benoni" Middleton, Sr. (# 67470837)
William lived an amazing life and I wanted to pass along to you a weblink from the ‘Texas State Historical Association’ that you can read a small bit about his fascinating life if you might be interested.
Small problem with James Turman and the Turman Family Cemetery you created for him;
You put the cemetery in Franklin County, which is in NE Ga on the S.C. border, but you put the map for it in the town of Franklin which is in Heard County on the AL border, 150 miles away.

|Lisa Bailey||Arvilla Wright-d/o G.W. and Amanda Wright|
Hi Scott- I see you manage George Washington Wright #29576755 and Amanda Riley Wright #92947917. They are the parents of Arvilla G Wright #10716880, but not linked yet.
The creator of Arvilla Wright has passed away, so you might want to request the transfer of Arvilla's record to you. (The contributor's daughter is swamped with requests and asks that we contact Find A Grave for to do transfers for her mother's account.)
I'm related to a different George Washington Wright (who came also came to Texas in the 1830s, but from Alabama, not TN)
