Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Yes. Thank you. This is the branch of my family line. He later married Lydia "Liddie" Mosley. I will make the connections for him.

I notice the last name spell on your Find A Grave on Dora.
It should be spell Silvious. You may have left out i. (Silvous) Everyone else spell Silvious except Dora.

Thanks for your edits. I did a bit more searching and found her and Vernon's middle names. I can't account for the DC showing Ebeneezer Cem. in Barbour Co. Here's the description of Ebeneezer: Cemetery notes and/or description:
Ebenezer Cemetery is just off of Route 57, on your left heading south. It is up a steep hill and in the trees. There are no signs or markings of any kind. All that remains of the old Ebenezer Church is a small pile of rubble nearby.
The tombstone photo on Vernon's memorial has her name on it as well at Adrian, WV so perhaps the person who filled in the DC got it wrong (as they did showing the husband's name in the wrong spot). Or possibly the old Ebeneezer was abandoned and the graves moved??? Just a guess.
Appreciate your help.
|Laura Tibbs||RE: Willie Riddle|
Great Thanks! I have a death date of April 1933
I should have also mentioned that I believe this Willie Riddle to be the daughter of Newton Jessie Riddle.
Is there any information that you can give on Find A Grave 99909639 for Willie Riddle? I have a suspicion this is the person I am looking for but I am looking for a girl named Willie who dies in 1933. Just wondering where the info that is on this Find A Grave entry came from so I can rule out the person I am looking for.

Please consider transferring this record to me. Allice is my g-grandmother. Her Memorial #139496922.
Please also transfer Major Clark's record to me. His Memorial #139489325.
Once those transfers are done I can link Major and Alice's son Leon to them!

I just sent you an email regarding an error I just made in a relationship correction for Ella. I am very sorry for this error! Please do not process the recent parents for her; her correct parents are Albert Lehman #55616839 and Bertha Garber #47522797.
