You're welcomed, G! I'm glad to be able to share my visit to the Simpsons with you and your fellow researchers. I well remember when I had many more questions than answers about my own family and won't forget those who helped me find my pathway through such a large woods!

I am posting the photo of their headstone today. The headstone has alot of lime deposit on it, but I took a few photos closup to get the carving as best as I could. Robert, does not have a full date of death (no one ever engraved the last 2 digits when he passed.) Chris

You're welcome. I didn't realize it wasn't kept up and wasn't really dressed for it, but I wanted to see what was there. I hope to go back this summer and see if there are more stones that may have been hidden by the leaves. Bev

You're very welcome. I wasn't aware the cemetery isn't kept up, so I climbed over fallen trees and branches. I took photos of all visible stones, except one under the root ball of a fallen tree. I'm sure there are more stones, but they have fallen or are buried. I've posted all I took onto find a grave. Bev

RE: GEORGE RENNIE
I am so sorry they had no record.
Were you pretty sure George Rennie was buried in the Kern County area?
Thank you for your condolences, what a very kind heart you have. God Bless You.

George Rennie
Hi G Lobban,
I wanted to let you know that Union Cemetery has no record of burial for George Rennie. Perhaps he is resting at peace at one of our other three cemeteries. Do you have any more information?
Please let me know, if you do and I'll see what I can do to fulfill your photo request.
