Merry Christmas, and thanks for your kind words. Send me an e-mail, and I'll oit you in contact with other cousins, privately. The information on the family Bible is second hand. I'll share more details.

you put a photo on the following memorial. I wondered if you knew Catherine's name (maiden or Married name)
here is the link

Nice to hear from you. You're right, Betty's husband Fred was my grandpa's brother. Betty died when I was four years old, so I don't remember her, but my dad and his parents and siblings visited every summer when they were growing up. Fred and Betty owned the campground at Rock Dam Lake in Clark County, Wisconsin. It's a county park now.
I never knew Elmer was so prominent until I started looking at the Barlow family. It certainly did make researching him easier. I've noticed a common migration pattern too. Of course, I'm from Wisconsin so all of my ancestors are the ones who staying behind.
I am on Ancestry, my username is Andrew_Daft. Let me know if you have any trouble finding me. I'd be happy to share my tree with you as well.

I just noticed the photo you added to Elmer Barlow's Find A Grave page. Elmer's daughter Betty was my great-aunt, so we must have some connection. I'd love to hear from you.

Well it is 38° here today and the snow and ice is starting to melt. Spring should be here soon! I am looking forward to getting back out to the cemeteries. I hope I find little Marion, too. I love a good mystery and hope I can help you solve it. I will get back to you soon (I hope!) Patty

I just got the request from you for the Schanen graves in Lake Church. I have been out there often taking photos and will go search for yours as soon as spring gets here. Right now we still have more than a foot of snow on the ground and the graves are all covered. Hopefully soon! Patty MM
