I am a family historian in my fourth decade of researching, and most of the memorials I have created or manage are for ancestors and members of my widely extended family. About one in six are of either siblings or of direct relatives, though a slightly larger number are of more distant ancestors. The remaining two-thirds of the memorials I manage are for more distant relatives and their spouses, plus a few memorials for old friends of mine who had not yet been placed on FindAGrave.
I have a special memorial here for my goddaughter, Anastasia WitbolsFeugen, and the domain at which I keep my email ("Stasia.org") is where her real memorial is.
I am grateful to all who visit these memorials, read their stories, and leave mementos for them. Should you find some of your own family among these, I am willing to transfer, as we're probably related anyway. | |

 | Sarah Conroy I am a descendant of James Conroy (the grandson). He is my maternal grandfather. I was in St Joseph last year and found Sarah & James Conroy headstone, but could not make out Sarah's inscription.
Can you possibly decipher the inscription and post it here?
Thanks!

 | Left Flower I Left a flower for Anastasia when I Left a flower for Doris Feezell you said you lost your mother from a drunk driver in 1961 what is her name and memorial number? I will leave a flower for her. I lost a friend from a drunk driver who I sponsor Cynthia gillig Stone 75864427 her stage name was (ECHO VALLEY) you can google, wikipedia, youtube her. But they will tell you she didnt wear a seat belt which is true but they dont tell you that the woman who hit her was drunk. There was a cover up beacuse of her age her (70's) and being a very wealthy she got out of it. To know Cynthia was to love her once you meet her you never forgot her. I would appericate it | | | Bill Vanderpool

 | Sarah Byrne O'Rourke Conroy My grandfather was James Augustus O'Rourke who was adopted and became James Austin Conroy. I was in Missouri and located James & Sarah's monument (my grandfather's adopted grandparents) but could not make out the inscription on Sarah's. Does anyone know what it says?
James Conroy (adopted grandfather) inscription reads:
"His mortal tread is heard no more His weary march is done He sleeps beneath the flage he loved The man of sixty-one".
BUT, we can't make out all of Sarah's inscription. If anyone is interested in filling in the gaps, take a trip to Hurlingen and see what you can make out. So far I've only gotten the first line
'Hopes are crushed and hearts....." A mystery to be solved!
