I didn't clean the head stone - I didn't even know there was another photo of it and was surprised when I posted mine and saw the other one covered with lichens.

Hello.., I have added some family photographs to Judah Nettles with some info in the captions. If you would like to add birth dates, they are included in her close- up caption. If you want to transfer her, I will be glad to manage....thanks so much, Marty Farrar Pickett ( Find A Grave contributor #: 47256717).
I posted all the pictures I took that day, Sorry I don't think I took a picture of the back of the marker.

I've transferred the next two you asked for. I wanted to thank you for caring enough to create suitable biographies for these members of your family. I'm afraid all I would be able to do would be add the details of their service (which I can usually find easily online), and that seems such a disservice to them. While their military service is to be admired, their lives were so much more than just that aspect. Only family can really create the types of memorials that find-a-grave is intended for...i.e. - memorials of the person's life and not just their death or their service.

I would be happy to transfer the memorial of your ggggrandfather to your care.
I am passive about our military ancestors as well. I have family members that served in every war from the RW to Iraq. My father was in the Navy and served on the USS Penn. WWII

You will be hooked. Great resource

I found his death record and fixed his memorial.
Missouri has a great online database of death records. He was divorced if that helps
|kate||RE: Orson Curtis|
Thank you for updating Orson. Are you related to him? He is my 1st Cousin 4x removed and his cousin Roswell Curtis is my gr.gr.uncle and he also fought and unfortunately died in the civil war. There is a memorial for him on Find A Grave as well. There is an interesting story about the 2 of them in Orson's book if I'm not mistaken. I forgot to add Orson's middle name in my edit request--it's Blair which was his mother's maiden name. God Bless.
