I have had a lifelong love of family history and cemeteries. I routinely review old newspapers for obituaries and do my best to place a copy on Findagrave. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, whether I've created a record, or uploaded an obituary or photograph.|
Each one of us who has this passion, is making a print on history. We are "preserving the past for the future". Family researchers who haven't been born yet, will silently thank us for our contributions.
To all my fellow contributors....YOU ROCK!!! :)
The surnames I research are: Atterbury (various spellings), Baber, Buster, Collins, Dawdy, Ford, Hollings, Kipper(s), Maxey, Meason, McGlothlen, Nickell, Nise, and Taylor.
Please visit my daughter's page. Her name is Jessica Stinson and she was my only child. Her Dad, Greg, died of pneumonia 4 months after she did. He knew he was sick, but I think he was so despondent after losing Jessica, he lost his will to live.

Hello Vicki, I am so sorry to read of the loss of Jessica and then your husband so soon afterwards. I am sorry for that sorrow that must have been unbearable. I read your bio and can relate to your love of family history and I can see where find a grave could be a type of healing. Regards, Michelle

Just wondering if you would like to maintain the memorial for Martha Orr. I am not related to her and would be more than happy to transfer it to you.

|Devastated Land Owner in NEMO.||Please delete message I sent.|
Would you please delete the message I sent you on May 7th since it contains incorrect info. about the Poage family. All you have to do is click on the little "x" in the upper right hand corner of the message to delete it if you don't know that already. You may also delete this message as well. Just think it would be better not to have it appear on your contributor page since it has several errors in it. Thanks,

Ok, I did some more digging and discoverd that Thomas Goodson Poage had three wives, Mary Marshall (Maxey) Poage #85061204, Sophia (Spencer) Poage #66634621 and Mary A. (Griffin) Poage #66634571. I am sorry that I mistakenly thought that Mary A. Poage was the daughter of Thomas Goodson Poage. I have made changes to my memorials for this family & sent one edit to the creator of Walter Robert Poage's memorial to get him linked to the correct mother! Sorry for my mistakes and let me know if you find any other errors, etc. Have a nice day.

Hello, Vicki, so sorry for your loss.
|Karen Coe||oh My, what a beautiful young woman.|
I just visited Jessica's memorial. She was "strikingly" beautiful. She must have really been a "full" pleasure to have as your daughter.
|Karen Coe||Collins family research|
My name is Karen Hunter Coe. I linked to your page via Rachel who left flowers on Amber Rayne Ardrey's page. I see you research Collins family info. Are any of your efforts in the Collins Family in the Fort Worth/Dallas TX area? I am in search of my birth mother (lost touch over 50 years ago). Her name at birth was/is Rachel Geneva Collins. Her father was Charley Arzie Collins. Thanks for any help you might have.
Karen Hunter Coe.
