Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am trying to carry on the work of finding family members that my mother and my aunt have begun.

A "few" of the surnames are: Mow, Peterson, Eads, Parton, Mathes, Carney, Shaw, Goodard, Poland, Snider.

We know some of the spelling for these names were changed upon arrival in the U.S., making it a challenge to locate some family members; but we perservere and little by little, we find more members. If you are a member of any of these families that might have information for our trees, please feel free to email me.

RE: Infant Mou
Hi - I have some additional info on this Infant Mou. I happened to be loading previously taken photos from Block 7 and found I had a photo of this infant/s. The stone is engraved as "Willie and Sister" Mau, children of W. C. & C. Mau. I should have mentioned before that Mau is the common spelling of this name in this county and many of them still live here. At any rate, that is how I changed the spelling of the entry and also added a listing for the baby girl.

I added a couple pictures of his grave marker. As you can see, it's very crude and obviously home made. I had to add a couple different shots to get as much of the info as possible.

Rebecca Poland

I've transferred Rebecca Poland's memorial to you. While I am not related, I'm writing a book on the 18th Pennsylvania Cavalry and researching what happened to all of the 2,025 men who served in the regiment. I've located 1,206 members so far. Cavalier has an interesting story and the last time I was in Cheyenne, Wyoming I drove down to Greely, Colorado to visit his grave. That's where I got the photos and the information for Rebecca's memorial.
