Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in central Texas with two dogs and five cats.

I have a special interest at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery as that is where my husband, Danny Loyd Coffell, is buried. He is the only one I'm related to at that cemetery. I'd be happy to transfer any other memorial there, that I manage, to family or friend of the deceased.

I am a direct descendant of John and Betty More and a member of the John More Association (JMA). I am JMA#4262611 and I am assisting the JMA genealogist in finding, or creating, memorials for deceased cousins of the JMA and have them tagged in the John More Association virtual cemetery. I send edit suggestions to established memorials and sometimes ask for a transfer of management to add new information. I am grateful for the many generous and kind gravers I have been in contact with.

I focus my attention on photographing grave markers. I'm not a professional photographer by any definition. I get the best photo I can under the circumstances at any given time that I might be out graving. If you'd like additional photos/views/angles, simply email me (address below) and I'll get them for you if possible. While credit is nice, any photograph that I post to a memorial may be used without my express permission.

RE: Roses at Montrepose
plot info is sort of meaningless because the areas are not well marked.

You're very welcome Cindy, I didn't know of the John More Association until I read your bio. My husband & I photographed the entire cemetery. I just need to get all the rest posted.
I visited your husband's page, he seemed like a really great guy.
Thanks for your kind message! Deb

RE: John Brock-Emma Valentine
John Brock's memorial number is 62771946. He died in January of 1892, so census that year would have shown Emma with no spouse.

John Brock-Emma Valentine
Hi Cindy,

My research conflicts a little with the bio you have posted for Emma Valentine. I'm not sure she divorced John Brock, as I found him buried in North Collins, Erie, NY in 1892. Emma filed for his civil war pension as his widow in 1892, and revised again in 1895 when her name changed to Emma Cole. If you concur, perhaps the bio could be revised.

Thanks for your efforts! The bio you posted reinforced my research thus far. My family originated in Lapeer, MI, though I am currently a fellow Texan! John Brock's daughter by his first wife was married to my great great grandfather.

RE: My grandpa.
It is way to hard for me to do it myself right now. I will let you know when I am ready to take over if that would be ok. He was born in Jackson MI and has 2 daughters and a son. 4 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. 1 great great grandchild. He retired an E7 and received the bronze star. That's all I can recall off the top of my head right now.

I am Walter O Countryman's granddaughter. I have more information if you would like it to add to his find a grave page. Just let me know.

RE: Mary More
You're very welcome for them. I also posted photos to Jessie More's page and I see that Grace Walter is in a different cemetery even though her name is on Jessie's marker. Take care.
