McNamee Cemetery

I see you are a volunteer in the Columbus area. I was there recently for an Aunt's funeral and managed a side trip to Baltimore, OH to check on my 5th great grandparent's graves. McNamee is a Historical old cemetery that continues to be vandalized through the years. Different people have worked on it and now I see my 5th great grandmother's grave which was carved by a local stone carver named John Strickler is broken. I don't know who to contact to get someone involved in a county effort to save it. Do you have any suggestions? I would appreciate your expertise of the area.

RE: James T Moore
Yes, and I am glad I did. Another few years and it will be totally unreadable. At least the shape is unusual, which may allow it to be identified.

I would like permission to use your tombstone photo for a CW tombstone project down here in Lawrence Co. You will be given credit for it. It is for those that have connections with Lawrence County. Prior to moving to Franklin Co., John lived in Lawrence Co. Thanks in advance!

thank you....

Edward H Davis father is listed as John Davison and hus father is David Davison...Don't know if these are correct but would certainly like to understand...I am maintaining this memorial but did not create it but the info came from researchers back in 1986 Mr Dietz and Ms Withers.
