|I'm a 64yr. old Wife, Mom, Grandmother & a Navy Veteran. I have over 43 yrs. of experience as a Domestic Engineer. I've been researching our family lineages since 1978. It has been a big blessing the past few years. Between Ancestry's extended data bases combined with F.A.G. has made it possible to find more & more of our lost family members. Thank you to all those who have done volunteer work for F.A.G.|
My physical limitations prevent me from taking a journey thru cemeteries. So your journeys & through your efforts, the most humble & most elaborate markers, have been amazing to discover & see through your photos. So your work on our behalf is most appreciated. We Wish You All Fair Winds and Following seas.

I don't recall any other memorial for him there and the cemetery is filled with snow. I'll check back there when the weather breaks and we get some sunshine.

My best graver friends that I work with on FindAGrave all the time are also from WA, the Dodges. Sometimes they are traveling the East and are here for a week in MA and we are in all of the cemeteries graving in Essex County, MA around the Andovers, Salem, Boxford, Beverly, the Newburys and such, every day. I'm heading to the cemetery in a few minutes. I usually get 600-1,000 photos in a long photo session on a nice day off from work. It's frigid out there now but there's always more scarves (and sometimes unfortunately, strep throat if unlucky). Hardcore graver here I guess... LOL!!!

The gravestone here was placed onto the memorial I created at a later date, so I ever saw this gravestone photo until now. I have revised the date as per the stone, and I agree with what you and the others can clearly see for death date. I don't know how the original death date got changed. Maybe someone sent me a SAC and it slipped through the cracks.
Greenwood Cemetery in Muscatine, IA will give grave locations by email to family members, along with a map if you request it. I've asked for 3 at a time, and don't know if they have a limit. It is a huge cemetery, and grave locations might help the volunteers get photos for you. email@example.com

Hi - The Ash Grove Cemetery and Cochran Grove Cemetery is the same cemetery. Cochran Grove is the legal name but locals have called it Ash Grove Cemetery since its beginning.
As to the source of obit, I cannot say for sure now because I noticed that I did not put a newspaper source on it. By the date, I probably found it in the Windsor Gazette published at Windsor, Illinois. I have microfilm for that newspaper but almost always indicate it. So I am sorry I cannot verify it.
I have transferred the entry to you.

I didn't take the photos of the graves of James and Ruby Spainhower, so I can't say for certain the graves are next to each other. The photos that I added to findagrave were taken by Ben Glick about 10 years ago. The reference numbers on the photos are KGC01304 (Ruby) and KGC01305 (James), leading me to believe the graves are next to each other. If you contact the King City Cemetery I'm sure they can give you lot numbers for the graves.
Have a great Christmas!

I am still stuck on this one. I have gotten hold of the funeral home that I was told holds the records for one section of the cemetery and got nothing from them. They said there was no record. Last trip to the library revealed nothing, but I still have him on my list - so we won't give up hope just yet! Have a great holiday season! Stephanie

Elizziebeth Lewis Ireland #73682688 is my Great Grandmother. I am not sure how Elizabeth Lewis and her are mixed up as a duplicate entry. Thanks for letting me know.

That is an entrance marker. Only 2 markers on lot. I put that photo on everyone on the lot.
One has a military marker. I think another Edward.
