Bio Photo Thank you for taking your time and leaving tokens. I am not related to any of these persons whose memorials are posted by me. I am interested in history of Polonia in the USA, mostly in Michigan and Illinois.

Death records, obituaries and cemetery records are my main source of information.

Stanislaus Cemetery, Cook county IL
You have a number of memorials in "Stanislaus Cemetery". I must draw your attention to something on found online--

"Stanislaus Cemetery" is the same as the "St. Stanislaus Cemetery" or "Polish Cemetery" listed on early death certificates, and those names refer
to St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, IL.

Veronica Mondrala
Hello,

I see you have some information about Veronica Czeszewska Mondrala on your page. She married my great-great-grandmother's half brother, John Mondrala. Are you related to these people and if so would you like to exchange information?

Nizinski family in Holy Cross, Detroit
Hello,

I noticed you have left flowers on the memorials for Laurence Nizinski, his wife, Veronica and their daughter, Mary (as well as Anna, born much later than the others). Do you have a connection to this family?

Laurence's brother, Joseph, married Mary Karpanta (my gg-aunt) in Detroit in 1894. After that I have no record of Joseph or Mary until the early 1900s when a Joseph Nizinski returned to Michigan from Poland. I am not even sure if this Joseph was the one who married my gg-aunt. In fact, there were two Joseph Nizinski's in Michigan who might be Laurence's brother, one who was married to a woman named Pearl and another married to a woman named Elizabeth.

I can only assume Mary died here, or in Poland, or perhaps she and Joseph divorced at some point. If you have any information on the Nizinski family that you could share, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Veronica Grzywa
Hi,
I noticed that you left a flower on my great grandmother's memorial. I recently have been doing research on her family, and was wondering if you might have any info on either the Grzywa's or the Churay's.

Thanks,
Daniel

Adam Niwa
Hi

I believe Adam is one of my great grand uncles. You have the parents listed as Katarzyna and Jan Niwa. Could that be John and Katherine Niwa? I was just wondering where you got that information from.

Thank you!

Niki

RE: Weglarz
Hi KPM:
I have received two memorial numbers from a relative that I would like to add to my wife's father memorial. All I have is the two numbers.
Do you know how to transfer the memorials using just the two numbers I have?

Thanks,
Walter Weglarz

katarzyna Pilarz Weglarz
HI: From my records Katarzyna Weglarz would be my Grandmother. My recordss show her name as Katherine Pilarz Weglarz and wife of my grandfather Franciszek Weglarz. She was born in Katy Poland Nov.11 , 1869. They had nine children
Frances,John, Joseph , Rose , Walter ( my father ), Frank , Wanda , Louis , and Stanley.
I do not know if Leonard is a son of My grandparents. It would nice to know if Katarzyna is buried at Holy Cross Cemetary in Detroit Michigan where my parents are buried. I will check with the cemetary tomorrow. I would like to find where and section and plot.
My grandmother was the daughter of Simon Pilarz and Katherin Pilarz. If you wish more information , please emial me at waltdis02@msn.com
Thanks, Walter Weglarz
