Death date for Mary Naish Lindsey
Hello!

I have recently been looking into the records for Elijah and Mary Naish Lindsey. I found Mary on the 1880 census in Madison County, Arkansas, living with her two sons, Elijah M. and James D. Lindsey. They lived next door to Milton C. Prestidge and his wife, Mary B. Lindsey. Milton and Mary had married in Winston County, Mississippi in 1876.

So I think that the cemetery record that says that Mary Naish Lindsey died in Winston County in 1870 must be incorrect. Is there an actual headstone for Mary?

Thanks,

Susan Grabek

Mary Elizabeth Bradberry Lindsey
Hi,
I'm working on Bradbury/Bradberry genealogy and I wonder what your sources are for the information provided with this grave post? I have, thus far, been unable to verify the James & Mahala connection to my ancestor, William M. Bradbury/Bradberry beyond a seemingly ongoing "rumor" on Ancestry.com. I'm looking for hard evidence if you have any!
Thanks in advance,
Alicia Watt

"other contributor" is Shanafelt whom you've
already contacted. All I can verify is on my memorial for Uncle Leonard: 58812916 - Augustus is father, Minnie Lux mother, Helen & Golda are sisters. I'll not chaneg anything at this point. GDW

RE: Coleman Comstock
I'll try and find an obituary for him. His headstone and Elizabeth's both read Cumstock, so you can change that. I'll also try to get a more legible picture of young Elizabeth's headstone as well.

RE: photo for you
Stevie,
I transferred the memorials of Jack and "Sallie" Perkins to you a while back, but this is the first chance I've had to respond to your email.

Oliver Jackson Perkuns and my ancestor Isiah (Issac) P. Purkins Sr. were brothers. I'm always willing to share and exchange information.

I have been unable to determine the parents of James Purkins or Elizabeth Watson. Do you have any information on our common ancestors?
