Many years ago, with family album in hand, I started a journey to find my ancestors. It has been a joyous adventure. I am amazed by the number ancestors. Although I have not found any rascals or famous people. I have found them to be the salt of the earth. I have came to love each and every one for their special place in this life, and I am always searching, never ending, searching for more.|
If by chance you should be related to any of my listed names I would love to hear from you. I am always looking for pictures, documents, and grave sites.
Linda Hollowell-Bock (Grigg)
Those wanting a transfer of family to you, please ask, will transfer unless a part of my own family tree.
To my Dearest beloved Mother..
Your gentle face and patient smile
With happiness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stills the heart,
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one,
Nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now our hearts are sore,
As times go by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.

I posted a closeup pic of Samuel & Lena Hollowell today.
I could not locate a stone for William Hollowell. He may have an unmarked grave, there is a fieldstone just to the right of Ray Hollowell's marker.

Linda, thank you very much for giving your permission for me to post the excellent photo of my 8th great grandfather's headstone on my Moulton and Marston Family Tree on ancestry.com. As promised, I will be giving you full credit for this photo. With best wishes.
|Nela and Roberta||RE: Eileen Davenport|
Thank you very much. They lived in Baker City for a short time and I hadn't run across any other of their relatives living in the area. I appreciate the transfer!
|Nela and Roberta||Eileen Davenport|
I am wondering if you are related to Eileen Davenport who was buried in Baker City, Or.? I don't recognize the other Davenport's listed in the cemetery and I don't think they are related but I've been surprised with my husbands line before! Eileen's parents were my husband's Grandparent (making Eileen an Aunt who died either at birth or shortly after).
Thanks for any info. I can be reached at
email@example.com or through Find a Grave - member #47159373.
Thank you for posting the headstone photo of my 8th great grandfather, Phineas Pratt, buried in Charlestown, MA. May I please have your permission to post this photo on my family tree on genealogy.com (Moulton and Marston Family Tree)and of course giving you credit as the photographer. Many thanks!

|Harold Sink||Searching for John Wesley Hubbard|
I have been trying to find out more information about John Wesley Hubbard. All I know is that he was born around 1854, not sure where, and that he married Rosanna Hollowell on April 11, 1875 in Pope County, Arkansas.
I am their great-great grandson through Charles Nathaniel Sink and Sherman Marilda Ann Hubbard. They had a son, Willis Otto Sink who married Callie Mae McElroy in Oklahoma. "Ot's" only son is my father, J.D.
I have other information, but I am trying to see if others have similar information that would mesh with mine.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Florence Attkinson Angus is my ggrandmother on my mom's side.
