Greetings! I am active duty U.S. Coast Guard, 26+ years service (4 years U.S. Navy) originally from Macon, Georgia, stationed in New Orleans, Louisiana. I've always loved strolling through cemeteries looking at individual graves and wondering what kind of person lies resting at my feet. I can stroll cemetaries for hours without getting bored. I love Military History, specifically the Civil War, as my g-g-grandfathers fought for the Confederacy; however, I have a soft spot for ALL veterans and children. I have traced my lineage paternally to Ulster Scots emigrating from Ireland in the early 1700s, first to Pennsylvania then to North Carolina and eventually to Wilcox County, Georgia by the early 1800s. Maternally, I am second-generation Italian/Croatian. Those of you who leave flowers for any of my memorials or simply visit, I wish to thank you in advance. If I leave flowers for your loved one(s), no thanks is necessary, but if you feel the need to reply please do so. God bless us all. | |

It is better than the Midwest and East have been treated. we are getting ready to head for the Oregon Coast for our fishing adventures. How are things going for you? Cap | | | sniksnak

 | EASTER WISHES I wish you and your family a wonderful Easter. May the true meaning of this special season be real to each of you. May your day be filled to over flowing with love and blessings from above.
As we celebrate Easter, may we be reminded of the true reason for this special time. Thanks to Calvary Jesus Christ - we can have everlasting life. By His life we are made humble, by His death we are saved and by His Spirit we can have everlasting life.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
I appreciate each one of you. You have been a blessing in my life. Thank you, Maggie

 | xx Its just a wish,
A sparkle of hope,
A flash of colour,
Sprinkled with gold glitter,
To brighten up the dull weather,
Its nothing special,
Not amazing in any way,
Just a care blown across the sea's your way,
Its love and compassion,
Maybe small but meant always,
It should not be abandoned,
Its just manners after all is said,
Yet may a smile form across your face,
As you read the message below I wish to covey...
THAT I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
IN EACH AND EVERY WAY!
To a loved friend by Ryan S.

 | RE: Greetings... Thanks for the hello, Chief.
Yes, Reginald was my father and Lew Millett was a family friend.
I try to stay in touch with Coast Guard doings, and recently served on a committee with retired VADM Breckenridge and several active duty folks to arrange a salute to CG Vietnam Vets last November in Alameda. It was a successful event.

 | MERRY CHRISTMAS MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your loved ones. May this Christmas be filled to over flowing with love and blessings from above. May your New Year be rich with family and friends.
THANK YOU for taking the time to visit my memorials. It means so much to me. I appreciate each time you stop by.
As we celebrate this wonderful season may we be reminded of the reason: * JESUS * He came to earth, but in the shadow of the cross. He died as a substitute for each of us. The greatest gift and love of all time. Isa 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
Looking forward to 2013 and thankful for each one of you. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR Maggie | | | Debi
 | Hello I just visited your Mother's memorial, and want to tell you what a strong and brave woman she must have been. Her story should stand as an example for all of us. I'm sure she would be very proud of you.
I hope you don't mind, I would like to add you to my friends, so I may remember her and your Dad from time to time.
May God Bless and Keep You DebiAdded by Debi on Nov 26, 2012 9:32 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
