|Family history is my passion for 50+ years. Hoping to meet cousins on all lines and work with other genealogists. |
In Vermont I have lots of Austin, Bell, Boyce, DuBois, Farnsworth, Gilbert, Hall, Lamson, Leach, Wilcox ancestors so I've spent weeks grave sleuthing up there and over the line in Quebec. Western Mass. is another focus with the Stanford, Streeter, Packard and Perry families. Tarrytown NY Warners are cousins. Deerfield [MA] Descendants, Revolutionary War Patriots and Mayflower Descendants are also a focus.
I have more information on most of my listings which I am happy to share. Photos may not be used without permission.
Amazing possibilities as we work together, taking grave photos, recording a whole cemetery, or following our own ancestry hoping to find cousins.
How about those BOXES IN YOUR ATTIC or basement?
Could be real treasures that are easy to share on FIND A GRAVE or privately online. You may solve mysteries in families or find stories that could be a great help. Its like a big puzzle that keeps expanding.

Have you joined the Mayflower Society? YOu should if you can prove through documentation that you are a BLOOD relative of Wm. Bradford. I've done it. I'm related to TWO original Mayflower pilgrims. Carole

Thank you for the nice note. I grew up in Tarrytown in the 60's and 70's. The library is beautiful, although I feel badly I never knew anything about who Mr. Warner was at the time. I have since visited his grave in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and he is in good company - -Samuel Gompers, Walter Chrysler, Andrew Carnegie, and Washington Irving to name a few. If you visit it is worth stopping in the office to pick up a map as these graves are all marked.

Dear Rachel -- Thanks for the kind words. Have slowed to nearly nothing lately because of health problems. Any time you want to accept your cousin's site I will gladly transfer it to you. Best regards, Frank McC. (email@example.com>

You are very welcome, I drive by that cemetery sometimes 8 times a week and have never stopped. This gave me a reason. It is very small and sits across the street from a church.

You are very welcome.....Where they are buried is quite a nice little cemetery. It is very conducive to walking, so my husband got in his daily walk finding the grave and I took the pictures as I was not able to do much walking then. Let us know if there are any other's you need. I noted that you are looking for ones in VT. At a later date unless someone else does, we might take a ride there as we visit friends in that area. Enjoy spring!
