I have been doing my genealogy since Summer 2012 and have already amassed a large collection of information, thanks to the internet, particularly FindAGrave and Ancestry.

My particular interest here at FindAGrave is fulfilling photo requests for Loudon Park Cemetery, especially the hard ones without plot information. I am also working on uploading photos for all "famous" memorials at Loudon Park that need them. My website (link below) is a site I created to consolidate various sources of information on Loudon Park.

Please note my new e-mail address (which I am not publishing on my contributor page in order to avoid spam for a while): joecandeux at that behemoth e-mail provider owned by Google.

Thank you for all your info. Have kids in town until next weekend, but I will get at the info when time permits... usually in the wee hours of the early morning. LOL... I'm waiting for edit updates on John Albert, and he is 13. So we'll see how things move along. Again, thanks, Karen

Joe -

My thoughts were that Alexander Hand was a farmhand for Halbert Hoffman who is buried there at Loudon.

Absolutely correct, no marker and/or headstone was ever purchased! Thank you so much for helping me out!! Debra

Will let you know when photo is taken. I included in my request that they look for a nearby headstone for Lydia. The cemetery office was very helpful - they might be able to tell you if Lydia is buried there (they need a death date).

I requested a photo of his headstone, but was told I first needed the location, since Oak Woods is a very large cemetery. I've submitted the location via the edit feature & again submitted my photo request.

Alexander & Ann Hand
Hi Joe:

I am looking for an Alexander & Ann Hand that could be buried at Loudon Park Cemetery. Alexander was a farm hand for Halbert Hoffman who is buried at Loudon Park.

Alexander was a Medal of Honor.
