I am interested in family genealogy.
I will happily add correct information.
I greatly appreciate the FAG members that have photographed and/or listed my relatives. I especially want to thank those who transferred my family and friends to me.

OOPs, Just saw your new VC's. No need to send me them. I'll try to do them all when I'm there. Thanks!

RE: 37
Hey Denise, do you have any more in 37 you could send me? I'm going to do some mowing there on the new ones as long as I have a good number of your requests. The little 1-inch snowfalls are nice since they hide all the dirt, wood panels and footprints. If I can catch some of them in sun without heavy equipment in there I might stay there and do some more. Today I planned to go but it got cloudy again. I might get some sun tomorrow afternoon.

RE: 37
LOL, yeah, I saw the requests and thought, "hey, those names look familiar"! Went to check my files and there they were, almost in a row. I must have run out of gas with the extensive photo-shopping involved. There was no way not to have many of them with heavy equipment and workers in the background when they are there almost all the time when the sun was at the right angle. Some of them I just took sideways just to get them done. I do have a few more there in my files I'll post this week and will retake the ones I didn't get in summer. The fresh snow covers up the raggedy ground so nicely. I'm very glad I saw the requests before someone else claimed them. Thanks for reliably posting requests on Sat. night. Also, I did take most of the ones on the hill but we just aren't getting sun up here, even when it was forecast to be sunny all day all we got were peaks of it so they were a little disappointing. The ones I took in 20-A look OK though.

RE: Snow photos
You're very welcome! I was able to get all the ones on your list and was very happy to have them to do before the snow and cold that's expected. Send more anytime outside the claim system and I will keep them for when conditions are good.

RE: Paul Gibelyou
On Ancestry I have a tree and it is called Preger Family Tree.

Joseph and Marguerette are my 4th great grandparents. Marshan is the last name I found however I found some trees with the last name Misher. I have no further info on her except she was born 20Sep 1811 and married Joseph in 1836 in Quebec. By 1850 they resided in Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan.

Joseph's parents were Pierre Gibouleau (The french spelling) born 9 Aug 1764 in Quebec. married Josephee Allaire/Hallaire 19 Oct 1791. I have no further info on either one of these people.

I will post a picture of Levi Gibelyou born 1845 in Michigan on Find a grave and he is my great great grandfather. And his daughter and my great grandmother Eva Anna Gibelyou who married William H. Preger. They are all buried in the Mt. Forest Township Cemetery in Bay County MI. Levi,s Find A Grave# is 6084608 and Eva Gibelyou Preger is #120356401. Peter, Paul and Charles Gibelyou are also buried in Mt. Forest and these are Levi's sons and my great grandmother's brothers.

RE: Paul Gibelyou
Hello cousin! Our shared ancestor must be Joseph Gibouleau and Margaret Marshan my 4th great grandparents. After his divorce from Mary Levi lived in Minnesota for awhile. Returing to Bay County, Michigan before his death. I have seen in the spelling of this name these variations Gabriol/Gabral/Gibouleoux amd Gibouleau. Any evidence of native american in your family tree? Several branches of the family have relayed some of the same stories I have heard about the Native American ancestry. I have yet to verify it, but French Canadian for sure. Glad to finally have a relative looking after the Gibelyou memorials in Mt. Forest Township Cemetery.

RE: Paul Gibelyou
Wow how cool. Do you have a family tree on line? I have one called Preger Family tree. I have included some of the Minnesota Gibelyou's in my tree. Levi lived in Minnesota for awhile after his divorce from Mary then came back to Michigan before he died. So is our shared ancestors Joseph Gibouleau and Margaret Marshan my 4th great grandparents? Do you have the family rumor that you have native american ancestry? I have heard the rumor all my life and have recently ran into several cousins from different branches of the family who heard the same thing. Glad to make your acquaintance. However I have verified the French Canadien that is for sure.
