I found this message on Beverly Sprowl Teibel's contribtor page, and it expresses my sentiments as well. "Find A Grave gives a voice to those who are not in the history books or the sports records. It lets us put our family, our true heroes who make us what we are and to an extent what we will become in the future, out there for the world to see and honor."

The pictures that we have taken may be used by families and descendants. However, pictures taken for 19th and 20th Indiana soldiers have been taken for the 19th Indiana web site of Phil Harris and may NOT be posted on other web sites without my permission.

Thanks to all of you who have posted information and photos on Find A Grave and to those who process the edits. This is a great way to preserve information, and in doing so, preserve our past.

I found this letter in the bio of Bobby Jett and had to add it to my bio as well. Genealogists do indeed feel this connection.
