Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Mary (Asplin) Lambert from Edmond, Oklahoma. I am the daughter of Ray and Fern (Park) Asplin. Ancestors include the Asplin, Mead(e), Doty, Hulsey, Lewis, King, Park, Hairston, Parker, Banta, DeMott, DeMarest,Terhune, and Joslin families.

The Joslin (Joccelyn,Jocelyn, Joscelin, Josceline,Joscelyn, JOSHLIN, Joslyn, Josselyn,
Josselyne) family relates to me as well as my husband. Thomas Joslin, who came to America in 1635, had a son named Abraham who is my direct ancestor. Thomas Joslin also had a son named Nathaniel who is my husband's direct ancestor.

I have been able to trace my ancestry back to Edward Doty who arrived with the Pilgrims on the Mayflower. This has been supported by DNA through a male (Doty) second cousin once removed.

I would be pleased to transfer memorials to you since most of the memorials that I post are not that of my relatives. I would be happy to make corrections, add family links, and include any additional information to the memorials that you provide. If I need to make additions and corrections on the memorials that I have posted, please use the Edit button on the upper right area of each memorial to contact me. Feel free to use any of my photographs that I place on FAG.

When I visit graves online, I like to leave a flower so that friends and family of the deceased will know that their loved one was acknowledged that day. You are welcome to transfer any of my "flowers" to your own scrapbook. I try not to use any "flowers" that have a copyright mark such as imikimi.com on the lower left side of the image.

Re: Memories from years gone by
Mary, I just had to ask, do you remember this
Lena? I cannot place her. Lena was such a 'popular' name years ago, for German's from
Russia descendants. I don't know if she
was married into a Jantz/Johnson line, or if she never married. Since you remembered my cousin, Archie's wife, Annie Johnson, I had to ask. Below is all I have found on this Lena.

Thanks,
Janet Milburn

13th generation American on Maternal side.

Mary,
We are Cousins.
Kittie Banta and my G2Grandfather Capt. William Banta are siblings.

I have seen your name for numerous years and have wondered the same...we are bound to be related but how. I discovered the link this afternoon.
BTW : There was a Greer/Banta Family Reunion last Saturday between Burnet & Kingsland.

Drucinda L Officer 1794-1859
Mary, would you please be so kind as to correct Drucinda's name on memorial #17499040. Her name should read Drucinda L Moore. She married Jefferson Brooks Officer 1804-1834 on Sept 6, 1821. Thank you very much.
