I have been researching our families since 1982. (It's a lot easier now!) I enjoy talking to and meeting relatives that I have searched for and found. I've located many interesting skeletons in my closet! My families are: Byrd (Bird),Bean Fernandez, Henderson, Jolly, Rivers, Still, Tillman & Watson. |

Hello Mrs Still. When I went to the cemetery to take pictures of your Moremen Family, I went ahead and took pictures of the surrounding Moremen Family members if you are interested.

And every Southern Woman should join the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Also, I worked on the Still Cemetery yesterday trying to identify and/or link as many as I could.

I am researching the descendants of William Bean and his wife Susan Temperence Troup that migrated from Edgefield County, SC to Morgan County, AL in the early 1800's. William Bean is the youngest son of Alexander Bean and Christianna Massey

My only thought is that Charity & daughter Elinor moved on after Decater's death in 1844. She remarried this Jonathan Taylor and is why the 1850 census shows them together with Elinor age 7 in the household. Again, sorry I went on & on about this but it was bugging me. :)

I'm sorry June. Here is the linkage from the Taylors to the Blackstone grave you manage -if it helps from the 1850 census:
Frances E Blackstone
Birth Year: abt 1843
Birthplace: South Carolina
Home in 1850:
The District, Edgefield, South Carolina
Jonathan Taylor 53
Charity Taylor 30
Susannah Taylor 4
Laury E Taylor 1
Frances E Blackstone 7 (Your Frances)
Just thought that was remarkable...:)

Hi June, You may remember me some time back with the photo's taken in Edgefield Co. Anyway, I came across someone wanting a photo of Jonathan & Charity Taylor who were buried in the Taylor Family Cemetery in Edgfield Co. A remote area that was truly in the woods! Reason I am writing you is that I noticed on ancestry.com these 2 Taylors had a young child living with them at one time and that person was someone you manage a grave for (#91301407). In fact, I took a photo of that grave at a different cemetery. Such a strange coincidence and wanted to share this with you. -Jerry

DON'T THINK A SINGLE ONE OF THE FIRST 3 SONS DID. THE LAST 4 WERE TOO YOUNG.

I've posted the photo. It just bothered me that information on the memorial and the photo did not match.

R. Gray Photo request - I have take a picture of a grave marker in Chapel Hill for "R. D. Gray" born Feb 3 1923 died Nov 1 2001. It is a military marker for a PVT in WWII. Could this be the same person you created the memorial for and requested the picture of?
