I am a 60 yr old native of New Jersey ( born in Jersey City/ lived in Weehawken) who has lived in Southern California since 1973. The oldest of 8 children in a large Catholic family, I'm a full time Realtor who loves horses, vintage hats, the Renaissance Faire and attending daily Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Traditional Latin Mass Chapel in Garden Grove, Ca. Find A Grave is a wonderful compassionate resource giving information & closure to many! |
The Andy Griffith Show is probably one of my all time favorite TV shows, with Aunt Bee as my favorite female character.
My late great Aunt Margaret was almost exactly like her & they could have passed for sisters! Hence the choice of my moniker. As everybody knows... Life is better on the front porch with a lemonade & cookies!
In my Relatives & Friends virtual cemetery, please visit my
Dad: Donald Patrick Dillon
My Aunt Dolores DeLorenzo Weber,( both buried in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill , NJ. )
My friend Sharon Eckstein Condon in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange California. (Age 41- She died of cancer in Jan 2012 leaving 6 children behind.)
My Uncle Peter Andrich who died in a head on collision in 2007 from a drunk driver just a month after my Dad died.
James Doonan in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, Ca. Just passed away 2013. He was the mentally handicapped brother of my good friend Helen. She took loving care of him these many years.
MY SINCERE THANKS TO THE MANY WONDERFUL FOLKS WHO LEAVE TOKENS FOR MY FAMILY/ FRIENDS!
** In December 2012 I bought a vintage hat from the Bing Crosby estate that belonged to his first wife DIXIE LEE CROSBY, which I wear only to Sunday Mass. It's brown straw with real silk pansies & ribbon, with a little veil in perfect condition. It came with a handwritten receipt dated 1952 , which was the year she died. It's very special to me as I feel that by getting her hat, she knew I would remember to pray for her soul...Requiescat in Pace! **

Hi Aunt Bee,
I want to thank you for not only leaving a token on my grandpa Jimmy's memorial page, but MANY of my family's pages!! You are so sweet! Wish you lived closer (I live in Michigan) I think it would be great to sit on the porch and chat all night! :)

Thank you for visiting William's Smile Train Memorial Page and leaving a lovely message. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
William is indeed smiling to know you are helping to keep his memory alive.
When William was quite young, he asked me if I knew the words to the song "There is a Time." We bought a Dillard's cassette tape. William loved the song - he even played it on his violin. Mitch Jayne sent us an autograph copy of his book, Home Grown Stories, which sits in William's bedroom, in the book case. Andy Griffith died on William's 22nd birthday.
Thank you, again, Kerri. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.
