Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is a passion of mine from when I was very young. My grandmother told me wonderful stories about our families and I have been doing family history for over 30 years. I have traveled all over the world photographing family graves and writing books on my different families. I need another 25 years to finish everything I have started!

PLEASE do not add birth or death certificates to my memorials. Thank You...

RE: Mount Hope
Yes, Rob has posts with burial dates only so I've been updating with birth/death dates found on Ancestry.com. Plus any links to family members. He's very quick to approve the edits. Just filling in the blanks. Thanks for contributing in any way you can. Kay

RE: Thomas Tunstall
You are welcome and thank you for such a sweet message. I did a page for his brother Robert. When I found his parents, I looked for all the children. I enjoy linking families together. Thanks again and have a great evening.

Sincerely, Vickie

RE: Mount Hope
You are a doll! Two popular names are Johnson and Williams...if you'd like to tackle the UNKN dates on those and add a flower, that would be terrific. I'm not finding a lot of generations to connect but I still double check just in case. Some family trees on Ancestry which add more clues. Thank you. Kay

Mount Hope
Bless you, Karen....I can't believe that anyone would purposely destroy memorial stones. In the meantime, I am adding to the existing memorials on FindAGrave that member Rob has posted, attempting to connect families through Ancestry.com, and thankful for any photos that are added. Please stay in touch. I found such a treasure from my research...take a look at memorial # 95454090 for Ransom Taylor who tells his story of slavery to freedom...I found it on Ancestry. It's the kind of digging I find so rewarding.

Mount Hope
Hi, Karen...I've noticed quite a few photos that you have added to Mount Hope Cemetery. I do not live in the area but am updating the memorial postings with correct dates and family connections. There are currently 28 open photo requests at Mount Hope and only 15% of the cemetery has been photographed. What would you say to a virtual working connection between us to bring this cemetery with dates as early as 1840 to a more current condition?

I worked long distance with a woman in New Jersey updating a local cemetery there...a very good experience.

I will transfer. Most of my entries were from an enumeration done in 1962. My reason entering them was to help folks hunting their kin

Broom - Bennett
Karen,

Just want to say how much I have enjoyed learning about the Bennett Family through your listings. I am distantly related through the Broom connection. You have done such a beautiful job representing each family member. Thank you again for all your hard work and diligence with each listing.

RE: Kevin Murphy
Thank you for your kind words.
Unfortunately there are people out there who just enter memorials without ever having read the site's instructions. Then they make mistakes, create issues and when called out upon those, they leave and we have to clean up.
In any case. Can you now delete the heart symbol from the note section on Kevin's memorial? (#124907275). It's my way of marking merged memorials.
Thank you and have a wonderful holiday weekend.

The Templetons
Karen, Thanks for the note. I have never met any of the Templetons. They died long before I would have met them, but in my research, I have found some interesting info about them! Many of the descendants of Joseph Crittenden Templeton are in Calif. We live in Michigan and my husband's "Closer" Templeton family would be more in Kentucky and Tenn. Thanks again.
