Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have changed my photo to this Phoebe Bird in honor of my Mother Phoebe Delois Predmore Rittenhouse. She did the family history for over 40 years and I have continued it for over 40 years also.
I would not have had the information if she had not gotten me started. I quit for about ten years, but got into it lately on Find A Grave. I love the site. I have met so many helpful people.
Some of my family surnames are: Predmore, Rittenhouse, Stallings, Rogers, Swan and Peters for just a few.
My husband's family is Williams, Crowley, Sexton, Hughes, Clark and Penn.
Beautiful memories etched upon our hearts and souls will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry if I have not sent a thank you to you, or answered a question that you may have asked.
My computer crashed and I lost all of my email addresses and correspondence.
I am going to remove my email address here and only use the public message option. Those who have my email may also continue to use it for long messages.
Sorry about this. I have been very disappointed, because I enjoyed chatting with all of you.

If you are related I would be more than happy to transfer, if they are NOT my relatives. Always happy to see the memorials in the hands of relatives.
THIS IS A MUST: It makes it easier if you click on each memorial; go to the upper right hand corner and click Edit and then click on Suggest a correction or provide additional information and ask for the transfer showing your name, ID # and relationship.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY DUPLICATES ON FIND A GRAVE. THANK YOU.
Raymona

OBITUARY
PUNTENEY
George V. Punteney was born in Morgantown West Virginia. February 27th 1820 Died in this city Sunday July 25th 1920 thus being within a few days of 100 years and month of age.
He was the son of John and Ann Punteney and his father was an old time Methodist having been converted under the preaching of Jesse Lee, one of the pioneers of American Methodist ----.
When 9 years of age he came with his parents to Lewisville, Indiana where lived till about 1850 when he left for Clayton County, Iowa. In 1854 he was married to Mary Ann Predmore and lived with her until her death in 1868. There were four living children from this union as follows: Mrs. Dora J. Wanless of Washington State, Harker Punteney of the I.O.O. F. Home Mason City, Weldon Punteney of Atkin, Minnesota. Mrs. L. P. Sanborn (Nellie) of this city.
After the death of his first wife he in 1873 married to Sarah T. Truman and she lived until July 31st 1918 dying at the age of 92.
Father Punteney has been very activity with the church during all these years as trustee, steward Sunday school, superintendent, class leader and Sunday school teacher.
His 100th birthday was observed in February 27th by a public reception at the church at which nearly all old friends came and gave him many congratulations, Mr. Barker, Mr. Kessel and Mr. Murtha made addresses his pastor read a sketch of his life and he himself made a very visible address the last public utterance he made.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the M. E. church, Rev. officiating and interment was in the family lot at New Oregon Cemetery.
This obituary has faded so was difficult to read.

My great Grandmother Almeda Schofield Clark collected obituaries they knew in Cresco, Iowa. So far I have not found this name in our family history.

Raymona:

Thank you very much for finding and photographing the Orville & Evangel Wisdom gravesite in Kimball, Nebraska. This has gone a long way toward resolving a problem in my family tree. I received the info through George Hibben.

Hi Raymona - Thanks so much for the prompt service. I thought that with the cold and snow, I'd have to wait for Spring. If you have time, would you let me know what a PEO marker is? Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
