| Bio and Links | | I was born and raised in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and now live in Gerrardstown, WV. I enjoy looking up cemetery records for people who request help in locating family members who have passed on and are buried locally or in the tri-state area. My maternal grandparent are from Columbus, Ohio, the(Schwaigerts) and Jefferson, Maryland the (Crums). My paternal grandparents (Washington Co., MD.) (Jefferson Co., WV) are Harding, Jones, Johnson,and then off shoots of Higgs, Crawford, Welty, and Gifft. I do try to be exact in my recordings, however if I make a mistake, please let me know. I record from monument and markers that are in the cemetery I am working in, I take photos of those monuments and markers to verify name spelling and dates. I do record from funeral annoucements in local and area newspapers. I then will go to that cemetery and take a photo of the burial place. If I can be of service to anyone, just let me know. | |

Thank you very much for adding my ggg grandfathers tombstone. Relatives have been searching for where he was buried for years. I have been to that cemetery many times and never found it, I guess because its hard to read and he is not buried next to his wife Mary Myers. My Great Aunt once told me that many years ago they replanted the grass at that cemetery and moved the stones and that the tombstones are not exactly where the graves are.
