I now reside in my home town of Akron, Ohio, after spending the last 25 years in Southern California. My ancestors are mostly from Ohio and Pennsylvania, and I have tried to enter as many ancestors, relatives and friends that I can find resting places for.
I am also currently working on recording cemeteries in my home area, as well as those in Blair Co, Pa., my area of interest. My particular passion is recording stones that are 'trying hard to soon become unreadable'.
I try to put as much application into stranger's graves as I would those of my own family, as I consider this a labor of love.
I am a "no-dispositions-unknown" contributor.

I transfer liberally, and am usually happy to do out-of-guidelines transfers if I am not myself related, but I WILL check out your profile if you send an out-of-guidelines request. If I see the rules of the site are being violated, particularly a large amount of burial unknowns for linking purposes, an OOG transfer will be denied.

Zella,
Thank you so much for you work and your standards. I appreciate the work you volunteer for.
My reason for writing is two fold. In the Dodson Graveyard in East Freedom, PA are there photos of the headstones available? Second question, where did you obtain the information, dates, for your memorials.
Our Dotson family researchers is trying to determine if by DNA tests results if this line is a link in our family. A written family history without documentation, has a different death year, close but not the same.
All help is appreciated.

My Momma and I stumbled onto your site as we were looking through family history on ancestry.com. We came across this photo and entry for Caroline A. Vonarok Hackenberg and were wondering if by chance, there was a John or Johan Hackenberg buried close by? If so, we would love to have a photo of his gravestone as well as any information that is on it.

| name corrections
My mother's name is Ruth Mays Hampton - Hayes needs to be deleted - It also appears in my Father's obit, Samuel J Hampton Jr as Ruth M Hayes Hampton - it is only Ruth M Hampton, M standing for Mays.
