RE: Owings Burial Ground Nettie, I have been searching for any information I can find on the Owings Burial Grounds with no luck. My grandmother was an Ownigs that come from Maryland. I have not looked at the Ownings listed in the Owings Burial Grounds to see if/how the are related, but I am sure they are. I am continuing to try to track sown the location Thanks, Bob
RE: Thanks You're welcome, Nettie. I'm glad to make someone happy with a simple photo. Bohemia Manor Cemetery was an adventure to find since it's not on any map. But I did stop and talk to the man next door and he verified that that was its name. I added you to friends but don't know what that means on find-a-grave or how you found me to begin with. I'm on Facebook but that may be a different format. I added the Fields that I found and some vets as well. Always remember what they gave even though I was 1A during the Vietnam era and not thrilled about it. Sorry it took so long but we were under snow for a while and I went to St Lucia until it melted. Then the rains started... Take care and if there's anything more I can do, the weather is much better and I will be glad to help. Dennis
RE: Hey me again Hi Nettie, I've never used the chat option before. Not sure how it works. We all have bad days missing our loved ones. My Dad passing away last year still effects my life for sure. I do understand.
