Bio Photo I began genealogy by looking for my husband's father and grandmother. It took a long----------time. A chance obit that listed some survivors that were still living opened a door. Now I can't leave researching alone. Each day I might find something or someone new - it's like looking for gold. The amount of work the contributors to this site have done is amazing and I am so thankful for them.

Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word. You just click on the "Edit" chose what you want changed, show changes, and close. We get the changes in a list and can accept them all with one click. Great tool!

Faustina Howery Gann
Faustina's obituary states that she was buried in the Highland Cemetery in Durant. Is that totally wrong? Or does she have a cenotaph in Durant as well as a tombstone in the cemetery where you say she is actually buried. Please help me understand. Thanks.

Thanks very much for your help with the duplicate records. Also, thank you for all the work you are doing for families everywhere. It is very appreciated.

Just wanted you to know that her son in law was Walter Alexander Garber not William.
Also I haven't been able to find a record of burial for her husband Fredrick Zuck died May 14, 1908 in Johnson City, Washington County, Tennessee.
Have you seen his name also? Sure they are buried together somewhere in Johnson City cemeteries.
thanks, great granddaughter Barbara Filbin.

I have reviewed your suggestion of the duplicate memorials, deleted the two I created, leaving only the original in which I had provided the photo for another contributor. For the past 2 yrs, I have been photo documenting West Lawn cemetery, section by section, or fulfilling photo request as a volunteer. I always look up the names prior to adding a new memorial, but if they are under a more complete name, it is difficult to distinguish. Thank you for bringing these duplicates to my attention.

Stump, Pierce, Sallee Family link
Joseph and Marjorie (Stump) Case adopted my Aunt Agnes (Case) (Birthname Sallee) Barker when she was 7 years old. Sadly, she passed away in her sleep Baroda, MI on September 25th, 2014. My mother always told us that a family member, named Stump had adopted her. She would refer to Uncle Warren Stump. Now I am trying to find the actual connection. If you are a Stump, there has not been a lot of information of Aunt Agnes's passing, there will not be a funeral and a private cremation tomorrow.§ion=info&user_id=1422050
I have posted a family background under the story page. I cannot find any information on her birth mother,my grandmother Mable Pierce Sallee., only on our grandfather Lois Edmund Sallee. If you know the connection, please share. My mother, the oldest of 4 girls, is still with us and I would like to find out before it is to late. Thank you in advance. Ferdinando Perez

Eliza McReynolds
Actually looked in Cox Cemetery Records again and did find the Eliza McReynolds with the Watson Craig, she just wasn't in the index. May be one and the same as the second stone but just don't know.

Eliza McReynolds
Thank you for your inquiry about the date. I am not sure which date is correct. Do you know this person or have reason to think that I read it wrong? I went back to look at original picture and enlarged it and just can't see a 92 better than a 52 and I have not been able to tie her into my family tree to have more information. I am sure she fits into my family, just not sure how. I referenced the Cox Cemetery Book but can't find her listed in it, neither Eliza actually. I will take another look when I am next back in Posey County. Let me know if you have further information.
