Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.

I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I am currently a Chicago police homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 25 years. My mother is a nurse and my one sister works for Loyola Hospital.

I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.

The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:

St. Mary's
Mount Greenwood
Mount Olivet
Mount Hope
Saint Casimir
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Evergreen Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery

Burr Oaks - Due to this cemetery digging up burial plots and dumping the coffins and bodies, this cemetery is the focus of national media and news outlets. It is a historical black cemetery operated by African Americans. It is currently shut down to the public as the criminal investigation is in progress. (Update: This cemetery has re-opened under new management)

Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.

Good Luck To All!

Bill Kazupski

Hey dude thanks again for your great work. Yep we landed another Irish Horse Trader. His parents were Patrick Sherlock + Bridget Carroll. Patrick was head honcho and King of the Atlanta, Georgia Branch of these Traveling Irish Horse Traders. Love to find which state and graveyard that they were buried in. Anyways I see that it says 'brother' John Sherlock. Sadly my research is weak at the moment on this family and am dying to know which of his siblings own that plot and who is buried in that plot?. You must have a very interesting outlook and insight with genealogy coming from your back ground. Once had a cop fro a Fiber Optics install and we were working across from the cemetery. I ask him about the main names in it and he asked if I did genealogy and I said yes. He told me that some of the graves had been knock over and they caught the guy. Going to court they realized that there was no living know relatives around. Well the cop did the dead guys family tree and found relatives the next state away and they helped the case by coming forward to represent their distantly connected relative to seek punitive damages. Hey about the grave being dug up. Is that the story floating around about gang members digging up foes fresh graves and throwing the remains on their parents property? Crazy? Any ways thanks a million dude. Hope to come out there some day to see first hand these graves. Cheers, Craig Dougherty

Hi Bill,

It looks there are duplicate memorials for Dollie Macaluso here, both by you. Is that an error?
The more complete one is here:

The less complete one is here:

I suppose it is possible that they are mother/daughter with the same name, but same DOD? Less likely.

Please confirm that these are two separate people, or if it's a duplicate, consider deleting the less complete entry.
