I am collecting information, artifacts, and stories about the members of the 208th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers; the 28th Regiment PVI, Company E; the 11th Regiment PVI, Company H; and the 4th Pennsylvania Cavalry, Company A (Civil War). Any and all information will be appreciated.|

Joe, I have also (just now) uploaded a photo of William E. Snyder - perhaps you could identify the medal/badge he is wearing? I only now noticed it - is it Civil War regalia of some sort?
He is my great great great grandfather, proud to say that

Dear Joe: Can I have permission to post your photo of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery chapel on Monsignor Gabriel Martyak's entry, I have a photo request up but not sure if anyone will be able to obtain it as he is interred under the altar of the cemetery chapel. Thank you for your consideration.

Always a pleasure. You make my search so easy by listing the plot #.
|Glen Bickhart||RE: Casper Hahn|
I found Private John Hahn Company D 208th P.V.I. C.W. right beside Casper's plot.

Unusual surname, i will keep an eye out on my travels :)
|Lalita Kuhn||Mathias Rosenberger|
Thank you for leaving my Mathias Rosenberger memorial. I have updated it with the information you sent me. Thank you for all you do!!

Glad to be of help.
Photographing markers that are fading and barely readable are my favorites. Making a visual record before they become impossible to read makes me feel that I am helping to preserve the memory of that person. Thanks for the request.

You are quite welcome. Thank you for adding it.

I uploaded the photo, then realized you had him listed with a different rank. I did not find him in the "new" Newport Cemetery when I walked it over the past 3 years, but there are sites without stones. I just started walking the "old" cemetery (I didn't realize no one had uploaded anything for it yet), so will keep my eyes open for possibly another William Troup.
As always, you are quite welcome. I'm glad to be able to help document history.
Thank you for the transfers. It is greatly appreciated.
