I receive literally hundreds of emails per week from FAG members. I answer them when time permits. Please be patient.
I am happy to transfer any of my non-family memorials to anyone who finds that I have entered one of their relatives.
I do not do mass transfers. However, I will transfer more than one relative if the steps below are followed.
Please follow the directions below for transfers or corrections. I have too many requests to look up individual memorials and member numbers.
***PLEASE*** go to the memorial- click on the edit button, then select "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" then ask for a transfer or send information for a correction. This makes it much easier for me. Please state your relationship with the person you would like transferred. Thanks
Thank you to all who send in corrections/additions for the memorials that I have created. Since I receive so many, I do not have time to thank everyone individually. However, I want everyone to know that I do appreciated them.
Hi---I had been hunting up information about Duncan when I ran across your Find A Grave entry for him.
And like so many other entries I have seen, it appears that the date of his death in the Michigan death records (and in a newspaper article about him) is a little off.
I'm going to forward the info from his death record so you can see what I mean:
Name: Duncan Carmichael Birth Date: about 1863 Birthplace: New York Death Date: Dec. 16, 1888 Death Place: Kalamazoo, Comstock, Michigan Death Age: 25 Occupation: Merchant Race: White Marital Status: Married Gender: Male Father Name: John Carmichael Mother Name: Ann Carmichael FHL File Number: 984130
If the date on his tombstone says 1889, maybe you can just add a note about the alternate information rather than change the date.
RE: 45863490 Yup, I found the first marriage record to the Snipe fella or whatever name is was and it shows her signature as Miami. Her birth certificate doesnt show it that way nor does a few other documents
Hi there I believe its the first name but I have not looked in a few days to see if it changed, nothing yet, but I sent her first name change edit twice, first or second time it said that you processed it but when I went there it was still the same
Maybe I'll give up-maybe the photo request being fulfilled will show the spelling
