Bio and Links
Bio Photo I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.

In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.

Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.

Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space. If your photo shows more detail than mine, please contact me via email to discuss it.

I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab.

You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

RE: William Morton
This information I sent you was from transcriptions from headstones in 1962. So he could be in an unmarked grave. My next day off, maybe sometime next week depending on if I get a day off; I am going to try and get copies of the info from the township or village and check on actual burials. I will let you know what I find. Deej

I have a question for you. My 3rd great grandmother was Jane (nee Wellwood) Foster. I believe (but have no proof yet) she was Robert's sister and Anne's daughter. She had married a John Foster (whom I have NO information on and it is making me a bit nuts) and they had my 2nd great grandfather Joseph Wellwood Foster. When Joseph was naturalized in Brooklyn, he had listed Robert Wellwood as his witness. Do you by any remote possibility have any information that can help me figure this out? Thanks for any help/guidance you can give me!

Hi Christina,

I see you are descended from John Graves Howard (69264154) and Priscilla S. Yancy. I'm doing some sleuthing tonite and think that I've found a match between a will I found at the Family History Library. It's the will of Ann Yancy, grandmother of Priscilla. Priscilla is mentioned as her "granddaughter Priscilla Howard". I have a lot more ends to tie up before I'm through but I thought you might be interested in a copy of the will. Let me know. My husband is half-2nd cousin 5x removed from John Graves Howard. Ordinarily I wouldn't spend time on that but he just did his DNA and now everything matters!

RE: Henry Julius Arndt
Hi Christina
Thanks, but I have Henry's memorial. I kept the hint & didn't attach it to him until I was sure that it was him & that his info was on it.
I'll wait awhile longer to see if the Hint gets corrected. If it's not in the next week or so, I'll contact Ancestry.
Again -- Thanks so much for your help.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

RE: Henry Julius Arndt
Hi Christina

I'm related to Henry Julius Arndt buried in Kalispell Mt He was my grandmother's brother.
His Find a Grave memorial is fine. My question is about the Ancestry Find a Grave Hint or Find a Grave Index. It is showing Henry's birth place as Wisconsin which is the birth place of the "other Henry J Arndt (Henry John Arndt). In other words, the Ancestry Hint info does not match the info on the Find a Grave Memorial.
How does that part get corrected? Do I contact Ancestry? I am concerned because of anyone who might be researching either Henry J Arndt.
Thank you so much for your help.

Henry Juelfs
In response to your email of Oct. 17, I have located another source through for Henry Juelfs. His birth is 1869, death is 1939. He supposedly was buried at Saint Johns Cemetery near the City of Fults, County of Monroe, Illinois. Please have someone who covers this area and see if this might be the correct place of internment. Please let me know when it is convenient for you. Thank you for all of your work in trying to locate this particular grave site.
