I have been doing genealogy and cemetery research for about 10 years. My mother's family is from Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. I have done extensive research at several cemeteries around Sallisaw, Oklahoma. I have a website with many photo's taken in these cemeteries and I am currently working on adding this information to Find A Grave. I think this is one of the best cemetery websites that I have seen, in that it allows anyone to add records and photo's.|
My family names are Watts, Corley, Lamb, Tidwell and Woirtinek. My husband's family names are Ward, Jelks, Singer and Harris.
I will gladly transfer ownership of memorials which I have posted to their family members upon request. If you have any questions or additional information about any of the memorials I have posted please email me at email@example.com

Sorry my computer had a Senior moment. No problem about the transfers I know this is a busy time for everyone. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas if I don't talk to you again.

Edwards in Sallisaw, Sequoyah h County, OK. Drake Stand Cemetery.
M. Jane Edwards wife of W F Edwards
b. 10 May 1858
D. 14 Dec 1899
b. 22 Feb 1898

I have reason to believe this is mother and son. For a fact I know that Homer Edwards is the line I'm looking for. And I think this is his mother.
I would like to find a obit for M. Jane Edwards to prove maybe this is her son. Would you happen to know what kind of indexes are available for Sequoyah County? What other kind of sources that might led me to a connection between these two.
You had mentioin that you do a lot of searching in in Sequoyah. I thought you could lead me to other sources, that might prove my theory. The newspaper might not exist for 1899. Thanks for any help

Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336
or to email them, the link is:
There are over 233 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help. : )

Thank you for the wonderful information. I too am not related to the Borin family. We have a genealogy group that meets every Monday since 1991 and this was a brick wall meeting. One of our members sent an email today saying he found a copy of their marriage in West Virgina and the parents listed on the license for Wade was John Burden and not Ollie. The mystery continues.

Memorial 31818734, Wade Hampton Borin's father is listed as Oliver. Do you have any source that would show his parents?

so sorry! I have deleted the incorrect picture. Thank you for letting me know. Chris
Thank you for the transfer of Henry. I appreciate it very much
|Head Hunter (Maria)||RE: James Gillilan|
That was no problem on the bio stuff and thank you so much. This is all my husband's line so any of Gillilan or Gilliland will be related some how. I would love to manage them. Thanks so much. Are there any accts I have that you would like to manage as well. I would rather they be managed by at least a family member or someone who knows them than just a photo volunteer stranger like me. LOL Thanks again.
