Martin J. Dacey
I happened upon your note about the discrepancy in death dates for Martin. I did find documentation of the 1963 date ( )from the Illinois Death Index. I realize it states the 1st of the month, but that often simply means "sometime during" the month. Just thought I'd pass the link along, fyi. Happy holidays!

RE: Henry and Stella Riordan Fam
No, I don't know if her remains were ever found. I know divers now sport dive the wreck but because of its location, they can't get to most of it. I think I'd list it as a cenotaph until you know for sure. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

RE: Josef Adlaf Memorial# 115716240
Thank you for doing research on this. I did not want to add a picture to the wrong memorial or create a duplicate.

Josef Adlaf
Memorial# 115716240 - I have a photo from Bohemian National of a marker for Josef Adlaf (1873-1918). I'm trying to figure out if this is the same person on your memorial page. I'm a bit unsure because of the difference in the birth year. Josef is buried with Marie Adlaf (1879-1955) and Louis Adlaf (1898-1967).

I suspected something like that! The Kitner's were wealthy so thought he would be with her so that was a hint. Yes I would love to see the information and I have some information on the Coffman's that are buried in Sheppard if you are interested. It is documentation on Joseph Sheppard who married Isaac's sister that lead me to him. Thank you,

Thank you to whoever wrote the description of what happened to my great-uncle, Amer Peterson, on the March 5, 2014 Find-A-Grave inclusion. He is buried in the Scandinavian Cemetery near Rockford, IL, but we were never able to locate a stone for him: b. Nov. 12, 1880, d. May 22, 1920, murdered in Jordan, MT.

I'll look further. Lakeview in Maryville is actually in Collinsville. I notified Find A Grave about that fact, but nothing has been done about that. That is the only Lakeview in this area, thanks for getting back to me.

I live close by Lakeview Cemetery in Maryville, IL. Spent a lot of time there and have not found this "William Eaton's tombstone". Is it possible this child is buried in Lakeview, Fairview Heights? Most of the burials in this Lakeview took place in the 1920's and 30's.
Regards, Clete
