I became interested in FAG as a result of working on my ancestry. I was born on the 19th of September 1955. I am the mother of four children , and grandmother of two. I believe as long as we live we should keep the memories of our family alive. As well as knowing, the lives our ancestors lived, the choices they made, is for a large part, why we are who we are today.|

Your effort to photograph the Hoffman gravestones is much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I found as a way of paying it forward for all the wonderful info I have found here, to go to the cemeteries close by and take photos of the headstones there and to add them to already existing memorials or create them. The flower was left because the memorial already existed with a photo and I just wanted to leave my respects.

Sharon, Thank you for posting George Thompson's grave photo for me. I really appreciate it.
Hello, thanks for finding the Alexander grave stones. They said they could not find Warren and Lucinda's sites. Warren was a Civil War Veteran and Lucinda were buried in the public area? My wife and I were recently in Madison and tried searching ourselves, we noticed this every large area of open grass and I physically had to scrap away the grass to see the markers. Is this where they might be? Thanks so much Dave

Thank you for the lovely photos for Eleanor and her husband Albert, I really like the larger photos with the close ups.
I appreciate your time in taking these photos.
Thank you for being a Find A Grave Volunteer.
Have a happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas.
You sent me a burial date of Dec. 6, 1944 for Susie Hammond at Springdale Cemetery, yesterday. Can you tell what this info was taken from and was there any other info there? You might have put me one step closer to discovering her correct DOB & DOD. Her death certificate had birth date unknown. Age 94. Date of Death Apr. 4 1945 Census reports on Ancestry.com have her born about 1851.
Grave stone has DOB 1861. DOD as 1944. I guess I need to go to the library in Madison and see if I can pull an obit for her and see if there are any Lytle Funeral Home records in the library as well. That would hopefully give light to her correct date of death and maybe birth.
I got her death certificate years ago but the dates on it never were in close range of what appears on her stone. One day I will figure out the mystery. Thanks so much for your help. A Grt Grn Daughter who bears her middle name. Janet Sue Robertson Gibson.

You posted pictures of the headstone for Dorothy Louise Cavett (1916-199) on her memorial and also on #118816565 for Marjorie Ellen Cavett (1931-1987). I don't know if that was intended or an error.
