I became interested in genealogy in the early 1990's and am dedicated to preserving family histories.|
I am a member of the National Genealogical Society, the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society and the New England Historic Genealogical Society. I am also am a lifetime member of the Idaho Genealogy Society and the Edmund Rice Association.
I am a Mayflower descendant, have several Revolutionary War ancestors, and three Civil War grandfathers.
My biggest claim to fame is that my great-great grandmother, Laura LaDocia Ingalls Waldvogle Forbes, is the Aunt Docia that Laura Ingalls Wilder writes into her Little House book, "By the Shores of Silver Lake".
I have visited repositories across the country, conducting research and gathering documentation...from the National Archives to various (7 so far) State Archives, the Library of Congress to state and local Genealogy Society libraries, and of course, the Family History Center in Salt Lake.
I am a volunteer transcriber and arbitrator for Family Search. I have done quite a bit of volunteer research in the local (Boise, ID) repositories.
I have begun working Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise as a Find a Grave volunteer. I have friends (but no relatives) resting there.

Thank you so much for your time in finding out this is an unmarked grave
|SandraMunyon||Leo Eric Elmes II|
I found a way to do it myself but thanks . Sandra
Leo Eric Elmes, II is the name on this memorial. Could you add the coordinates for his grave as there is no marker.
Full body in second edition, Block 69-2, Row B, Grave 11.
That is very helpful if someone goes there and tries to find it with or without a headstone.
Thank you, Sandra

I was searching Clarissa Whitten Decker (Susanah Mozer Whitten and Bridge Whitten) through her line to the Mozer's ( and my line via Melvian Gard (daughter of Mahala Mozer Gard and Timothy Gard)
While doing that the families seem to cross into the the family of the the Harness line also --I have 18 Harness in my family line including a Hannah Harness b 1755 d 1817 who married who married John Decker b/ 1750 d 1818.
Is there a connection?

Hi Robin, I would like to ask a favor. My great uncle Carl L Fields Memorial # 139028739 is buried at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Could you please add his parents Memorial #'s so he will fit in with his siblings. His Father's # is 108776674 Ira L fields.
Mother is Lavina- # 93592339 If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I know Carl was married, and his wife remarried. I can get more information from my mom if needed. Thanks Paula McKinley

Thank you very much for his transfer. I do appreciate that.
Hello Robin, I'm very sorry I didn't see your e-mail in time to transfer the requested memorial to you. I moved house recently and had access to Find A Grave but not to e-mail till this week. It's a bummer, as whatever biographical information I added for Mr. W. was lost in the merge of the two memorials. I hope you're able to request a transfer from the current owner of the new memorial. If it is helpful, I will suggest it myself (politely) to the new owner through SAC on the memorial. My apologies.
