Hi, Charles. I've seen some of the new pages you've added for the Owens family in Laurens, SC. First of all, a huge THANK YOU. I'm descended of Gideon Owens. Second, I would love to correspond to compare notes and see if I can add anything, correct any errors I may have, and chat about our common ancestors. If you have any interest, please email me at Again, thank you for the pages. So grateful.... Donna

Sanford V. Knight
You created a memorial for Sanford V. Knight in the Knight - Crawford Family Cemetery Find A Grave Memorial# 153055423, wondering where you got the information that they are buried here, everything I have shows them buried in Medlock Puckett Knight Cemetery, Wares Shoals, Laurens, South Carolina, including a stone for both Sanford and his wife (Find A Grave Memorial# 100711033) is where you have them a part of the Medlock cemetery.

RE: Ella Putnam Cosby
Her South Carolina death certificate has Warrior Creek listed as her burial place.

Her obituary said funeral service were held at Warrior Creek Baptist Church with the Rev W D Patton and the Rev J A Martin officiating.

She died at the home of her niece and nephew, Mr and Mrs John Brown.

Thanks for letting me know. I see they had memorials, very nice ones, at Cannon; so I removed mine. Can't figure out where I got that info...

RE: Higgins Cemetery, Laurens
Charles, do you know of any Higgins family members in your area who are studying their family history? I am stumped with this line and could use a boost.
James B. Higgins, member of Warrior Baptist, was from Kershaw County, SC. He m. Haney Higgins of Laurens. I am very sure that these two Higginses are connected, but I am scratching my head over finding the link between the two families. I sure could use some help.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have,

Oops. I have a problem with three of the Higgins photos. I'm not sure if it is my computer or my eyes (grin). The photos of the tombstones for Elizabeth Higgins French, David Higgins and Hannah Higgins are very blurred. Is there a way to correct this? The one for James B. Higgins is very good, but I'm puzzled about the other three.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Hi Mr. Hawkins,

Thanks very much for taking and posting pictures of the memorials of my great-uncle and great-aunt, Samuel Patrick and Ellie Mildred Boozer Bowers. I do appreciate being able to see them.
